Vegas came out with flames in their skates as was to be expected. They jumped out on top within the games first few minutes with a James Neal goal. The Penguins got one back and the game remained tied at one through the 2nd. The most unlikely of scorers comes through for the Golden Knights as Jon Merrill gets the go ahead goal. Marc-Andre Fleury was spectacular in his first game against his former team.
