Vegas struck first using a strong 1st period effort. An excellent goal that touched the sticks of all three linemates was finished off by Max Pacioretty. However, another series of lapses in their own end led to consecutive goals by the Predators to take the lead. The Golden Knights peppered shots at Saros all night long, but could not find the equalizer. It’s the first time they’ve lost two straight at home in regulation all season.
