It eventually led to a power play goal by Brandon Pirri after a terrific entry by William Karlsson. Vegas took a three-goalĀ lead early in the 3rd. Nashville made it interesting cutting it back to two, but a pair of goals from Oscar Lindberg and Pacioretty sealed the deal on a big win for the Golden Knights.

*** Cody Eakin
** Oscar Lindberg
* Max Pacioretty
It's been 28 days since the Golden Knights won a home game. They needed one in the worst way and they went out and played their best game of the season.

Golden Knights just took their 40th shot. There's still time left in the 2nd period.
This has been a terrific effort across the board for VGK, but need to do it for 20 more minutes to make it worth anything.

Eakin and Lindberg have been so good again. Pacioretty wasn't out there on that one, but that line has made a huge impact on this game.

The Saros curse is over.
My goodness that shot from Pacioretty was insane. When he first got here Daniel Carr told us he has the best shot in the NHL. "Watch, you'll see it."
