Another scoreless first between the Avs and Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena. The Golden Knights came out looking much better in the 2nd and took a lead. Colorado tied it up on a goal that looked like it should have been back for goalie interference. Then, a high stick to the face of Pierre-Edouard Bellemare seemed to light a fire under the Golden Knights. They scored on the ensuing penalty and looked incredible to start the 3rd. They took a 3-1 lead and hung on all the way to the finish when William Karlsson scored his 40th goal. With the win, the Golden Knights have clinched a playoff berth!

Great game and win tonight. Not only clinching a playoff spot, but also clinching at least the first round home ice advantage. Anaheim or LA can’t catch us there either.
Also, we can’t lose the ROW tiebreaker against SJ anymore either. Clinching the Division is getting closer too.

I think everyone was Jim Mora back in October, “Playoffs? You kidding me.” We’re not kidding. We can say it now. What a Knight. Get the bunting ready.
