Vegas spent a majority of the first two periods on the power play, including a late 5-on-3, but the only goal that came from it was a shorthanded goal for Winnipeg. A turnover at the blueline led to the Jets second goal and the Golden Knights headed to the locker room down a pair in the 2nd. Vegas finally got on the board early in the 3rd, but Laurent Brossoit played unbelievably. Winnipeg added two empty-netters late.

Well, at least we had the moment when Fleury built a wall of snow in front of the empty net. pic.twitter.com/JPLwt1vKuF

That last minute is why when you yell "SHOOT" the entire time your team has the puck in the zone, you sound foolish. Shots are useless if they don't get past the first defenseman. VGK shot three or four into shins there and it cost them a chance to tie it.

First time in 13 games VGK will enter as underdogs. Just the second time in the last 26 too.
VGK are 1-8-0 as underdogs in 2018-19 and have lost 8 straight. (Puckline has covered in 7 of the 9 too.) pic.twitter.com/59tCLRyDyw

Nathan
Only the 2nd game of the year I have not seen (counting both in person and TV) due to a work commitment and I miss the Flower snow wall…. Damn. Still funny on replay.
