Vegas started out about as poorly as they could, hemmed in their own end for a majority of the first five minutes of the game. They allowed one, but then turned the tide and started playing much better. A Pierre-Edouard Bellemare goal got the Golden Knights on the board and evened the score. The game see-sawed back and forth with St. Louis taking leads of 1-0, 2-1, and 3-2 until taking a 4-2 lead in the 2nd. The Golden Knights scored a gritty power play goal to cut it back to 4-3, but couldn’t ever get any closer.

Three Stars
*** Robbi Fabri
** Tyler Bozak
* Oskar Sundqvist
3 great scoring chances, VGK cannot convert on a single one, then a mixed group of forwards and D and they give up a 5th. This is getting concerning.
