Recap: The Golden Knights traveled to San Jose for another Pacific Division preseason battle. Neither team scored in the first 40 minutes but quickly changed in the final frame.
The Sharks took a 1-0 lead early in the third period with a power play goal. Minutes later, Alex Holtz evened the score for the Golden Knights.
After a brief overtime period, both teams lined up for a shootout. Vegas scored on two out of their three chances to defeat San Jose in SO.
Vegas’ next preseason game is on Thursday night against the Utah Mammoth. Puck drop is scheduled for 7PM PT. (Recap by Jason)
Analysis: It was a game in which both teams started their best NHL goalie and a roster mostly consisting of AHLers and rookies. San Jose had a few more of vets in their lineup and it looked that way. They controlled a good portion of the play but VGK hung in there and keep battling through it. Tied the game, killed a penalty late, got some saves, and walked away with a shootout win. Not many will remember this down the road, but that was a nice effort from the guys that were out there. (Recap by Ken)

I watched the first 2 periods mainly to focus on Piipainen, and came away impressed with his skating ability as well as his composure, for a recently turned 18 he acquitted himself quite nicely, the future, along with what i believe to be an ascending Connelly is making the future look a little brighter.
Vic
Was thinking exactly the same thing. Hallum also looks good.

We need to ban you and your stupid statements

Hart and hustle were the ingredients to that win.
the OT continues to be a real problem in the Knights org. 7 shots to none.
almost all the Henderson ahl players will be sent down on Wed, but they gave a good account of themselves in the 2 games and showed that hustle and muscle are still valued in the Vgk system.
