COLORADO AVALANCHE 3 VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS 2 (Preseason Game 2)

Recap: Some different faces were on the Golden Knights bench for their second of a back-to-back exhibition game. Sheldon Rempal opened the scoring for Vegas before Colorado capped off the first period leading 2-1.

The Avalanche took a 3-1 lead in the final period but Vegas’ Lukas Cormier got his team within one. Colorado held off Vegas late in the game to pull off a 3-2 victory.

After two preseason matchups the Golden Knights are (0-2)… who really cares about the score anyway? The Golden Knights are still Stanley Cup champions.  (Recap by Jason)

Analysis: The Golden Knights did very little of substance in this game. It felt like there would be 10 minutes between every shot. Not a great showing, but not a lot of care given. (Recap by Ken)

Hard to say what’s worse – these uninspiring nonsense games, or the sheer incompetence of Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels…that weird haircut Davis guy should sell.that team to Foley

The best thing about these 2 “games” came in the TV commentary after it was over.
” We are right on track, last year we lost the first 2 pre season games and won the Stanley Cup”

    • THE hockey GOD

TV commentators waste first half of game telling us stuff we already know, instead of telling us stuff about all the new players on the ice which many of us have never seen or heard of before. When they get down to telling us what’s happening on the ice, the game is just about over.

If there is really a competition for that left wing spot, then our boy Cotter needs to turn up the effort. In interviews he continues to say the spot is his, but I don’t know. He played decent in the 3rd period of both games but not so good in the other 4 periods. Hope Whitey is ok.

Sat down and watched both games, woke up next morning, tv still on….What a great way to kill insomnia!!

So how bad is Zach ” Glass Joe” Whitecloud hurt this tome?

  6. Henderson Knights

these games just underscore the importance of Eichel, Stone, Marchy, Stephenson, Karlsson, Petro, and Hill to the team.
