Praise Be To Foley, Vegas Golden Knights Hockey Website

The Golden Knights returned home from Western Canada for a Thanksgiving eve matchup against the Ottawa Senators. Former Senator Mark Stone gave his current team a 1-0 advantage with a 1st period power play goal. Ottawa scored on the PP as well locking in a 1-1 tie after the opening twenty minutes.

This season’s most surprising player William Carrier weaved in and out through Ottawa’s defense to regain the lead for Vegas late in the middle frame. Carrier’s 7th goal of the season made it 2-1 Vegas after two periods.

William Karlsson didn’t wait long in the final period to add more offense. Karlsson roofed a backhanded shot past the Senators goalie, taking a two goal edge. In the final minutes, Jack Eichel scored a long-distance empty netter to seal Vegas’ victory.

The Golden Knights record improves to (16-4-1) defeating the senators 4-1. Vegas will next face Seattle on Friday evening from The Fortress. Puck drop against the Kraken is scheduled for 5P PT. (Recap by Jason)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Goalie Interference – Season 2 Episode 8 – November 22, 2022

  1. Pistol Pete

    LT an insane 39/40!

    ARI 4-0 @ CAR
    VAN 4-3 @ COL
    ANA 3-2 vs. NYR

My goodness. No such thing as a gimme in this league.

    Devils and Bruins lose.

Get ready for Friday. Kraken holds on vs. Sharks 8-5 after Sharks tie it 4-4.

  2. Pistol Pete

With Carrier scoring three goals with Roy out we have to like Howden as 4C. Ten gets you one we see Roy as 3C when he comes back. Might just be what the 3rd needs.

I like to think Cassidy shrewdly views Carrier and Howden as diamonds in the rough. Tall, big and fast that need work on finishing. Definitely addressable.

  3. Pistol Pete

That Karlsson goal was unreal. I had been hoping for the Cassidy Effect on his offensive output.

Eichel made up for some missed EN’s on that one. Backhand from the redline.

  4. Pistol Pete

The two most controversial acquisitions are the points leaders after the first 21 games.

    Eichel (26 pts +16)
    Pietrangelo (21 pts +5)

  5. TS

Messed playing over 1000 straight games for LVGK is incredible! I never even noticed him last year or the years before that in a LVGK uniform!

    • Ts

    • knights fan in minny

what the hell are you talking about fake ts you dumb shit

      • TS

Im just trying the math but its hard to do – if Phil has played 1000 plus straight games for LVGK, and each season has about 80 games or so, he must be counting the preseason and practice scrimmages too!

        • knights fan in minny

hey fake ts math is hard to do when you’re a malt liquor drinking loser like you boy

          • TS

KFIM, this CLOWN actually trolls me PREEMPTIVELY!! I don’t have to post a thing, and he trolls me!!
I wonder if he has dreams about me, he seems to think of me often. What a PERV. CREEPY, LONELY CLOWN. I feel sorry for him.

  6. Jailbird

Great effort all around ! Next two very winnable! Also, Revo traded by Ny to the Wild.

    • knights fan in minny

      minny is becoming vegas north

    • Next two very winnable – better not count your chickens before they hatch you’re setting yourself up to potentially be very disappointed. Seattle just beat Colorado at home so who knows. Vegas needs a few more guys like Carrier – that guy is nothing but energy.

      • Jailbird

Next two ARE very winnable there HD. Counting chickens would be if I said they were going to win both games. Not what I said pal !

        • Jailbird – whatever rocks your boat. Go back and read your post – your words not mine – Next two very winnable! I was simply pointing out the fact that may not be the case.

          • Jailbird

Hd, You just confirmed my point! Sometimes you don’t make sense. Guess you just feel compelled to write something?

      • Pistol Pete

Biker I think you meant Canucks just beat COL away (yesterday)—they have offensive firepower but trouble defending. And of course Kraken seems poised to take their first win against us on Friday. Not hopefully! But to your point, game at a time (Cassidy is right it’s a cliche lol), there are no gimmes in this league, Heck, Coyotes trounced Canes 4-0 last night in Raleigh.

  7. knights fan in minny

big win logan being logan cool and calm what a lazer backhand from wild bill that was awesome will carrier with a thing of beauty the captian is on a roll

  8. Richard Santomauro

Every game is an opportunity. But, let’s be real. Ottawa is in the basement 6-12-1 with a -10. They are struggling for identity with 1 above average line.

Better competition and an opportunity to further solidify team chemistry is coming up this Friday & Saturday.

Carrier is advancing his game and has earned some PP time.

  9. Richard Santomauro

Everyone mocked LT as a legit net minder 1A coming into this season…..

    except me…..

  10. Tim

Just keep piling up the wins. Next 5 games if were rolling are very beatable. Love to be at 40 points by the end of November. We’ll have our chance soon enough at the east coast teams and then we’ll have a better feel for our team. So far so good you can pick some little short comings but hard to argue about the bottom line.

  11. THE hockey GOD

happy TG to VGKs, all fans, and everyone. A true AMerican holiday, with traditions and family values. God Bless.

TNT did top shelf job in the broadcast

    • Knights fan in minnie

      • knights fan in minny

oh your so funny fake ass poster why do you come on here and act so stupid but then again you probably are stupid enjoy that malt liquor and popeyes chicken you piece of shit

    • TS

      Thg, right back atcha!!

    • Pistol Pete

I like Shane Hnidy as color commentator. He’s really as good as anyone I have listened to. Nice to see him get a spot on TNT.
