I am not sure Bednar accusing his players of not playing hard enough is the right approach. Seems to me they played their butts off and just got beat by a team playing better, playing a better strategy. Bednar might be advised to adjust what he’s doing to counter DeBoer instead of blaming his players for lack of effort. Perhaps the players is a tried and true coaching strategy?

I think VGK out hustled COL in the last game. If you remember the game before COL beat VGK to lose pucks which is why they won the game. In the last game, VGK seemed to beat COL to those lose pucks. I don’t agree with his strategy of blaming players but I also think he is partially correct

Beating players to the puck is positioning and strategy not so much hustling imo. NHL players all hustle unless they are on a losing team and have nothing to gain or prove. In the postseason all players play hard. Bednar is just getting beat the last five periods. We’ll see if he can come up with a solution vs. blaming his players for not being competitive enough. If I was an AV I would not appreciate his action in badmouthing his squad.

Also doesn’t help to say they are done .I mean teams Have come back down 3 to 1 .
But I will say ,I kinda like you being cautiously optimistic as opposed to so overconfident last 2 yrs and getting smacked down into reality .lol
The bottom line is Vegas plays better as an underdog that has something to prove .way more aggressive after pucks etc.They should keep it that way . No matter what happens or who they play if moving forward
