Toughest Stretches Of Golden Knights’ 2025-26 Schedule

(Photo Credit: SinBin.vegas Photographer Brandon Andreasen)

We’ve looked at the easiest stretches of the schedule for the Golden Knights in 2025-26. Now, let’s dig into the toughest ones.

October 20th to November 10th
vs CAR, at FLA, at TBL, at CAR, vs COL, vs DET, vs TBL, vs ANA, vs FLA

The first six games of the season are going to be crucial for the Golden Knights because this stretch lies right behind them. There are just three road games in this 9-game group, but seven of the nine are against playoff teams. Playing three games in four nights in Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, and Raleigh is incredibly difficult, and then the extra day off gets cut short with the Nevada Day game against the Avs. Detroit and Anaheim stand alone as the “gimmes,” and there’s an argument that both have a shot to make the playoffs this season as well. Getting a point per game is not exactly the goal early in a season, but if VGK walk away from this with nine points, it won’t be bad.

February 25th to March 10th
At LAK, at WSH, at PIT, at BUF, at DET, vs MIN, vs EDM, at DAL

This brutal collection of games comes right out of the Olympic break (which we expect at least five Golden Knights to participate in) and starts with a ridiculous road trip, beginning in California and ending in Michigan. The “easiest” three games happen on a three-in-four stretch with 500 miles to fly in between. Then, when VGK finally returns home, it’s a who’s who of familiar playoff opponents. Oddly, the back end of this stretch was listed as one of the easiest stretches because they typically perform well coming off breaks, and the trade deadline will likely offer some help. If the road trip goes well, Minnesota, Edmonton, and Dallas will look like blips on the radar of the beginning of an easy part of the schedule. If they struggle, there’s a real chance they are staring at five or six points in eight games at a crucial time.

March 21st to April 4th
At NSH, at DAL, at WPG, EDM, WSH, VAN, CGY, at EDM

It starts with a back-to-back against teams likely to be competing for playoff spots, then a miserable flight up to Winnipeg before returning home for the grind of a game against the current biggest rival. Hopefully, at this point in the season, the Golden Knights aren’t chasing points to either stay in the playoff race or advance up the ladder. It’s probably the toughest end to a season VGK have ever faced, especially if Seattle is halfway decent. Usually, there are Sharks, Ducks, and Coyotes games mixed in there that offered up free wins. In the last 13 games, it’s Nashville, Vancouver, Calgary, and Seattle that look like the easiest games, and there’s an argument for any of them to be much better and make the final three weeks look even tougher.

Speaking of tough stretches, the DeM party is in a severe rut right now. Scrambling for any connection to Americans, common sense, decency, or reasonable talking point.

Like a ventriloquist who suddenly loses control of his dummy, the Democratic Party is discovering that their carefully crafted public image can shatter in an instant. For years, party leaders have mastered the art of speaking in coded language, using euphemisms to disguise their more radical ambitions. But what happens when one of their own decides to say the quiet parts out loud?

The answer is panic—and trust me, I’ve watched this playbook before. Nowhere is that more evident than in the frantic efforts by Democratic leadership to distance themselves from a rising star who represents everything they actually believe but would never dare admit publicly. The problem isn’t that this figure is an outlier; the problem is that he’s exactly what the modern Democratic Party has become.

Enter Zohran Mamdani, the New York City mayoral candidate whose unapologetically radical positions have sent his own party into damage control mode. Here’s someone who openly advocates for abolishing private property, refuses to recognize Israel as a Jewish state, and won’t condemn “globalize the intifada.” In other words, he’s speaking the language that progressive activists use behind closed doors—just without the usual political sugar-coating.

The Democratic establishment’s response? Swift and telling. Rep. Adam Smith of Washington took to Fox News Sunday in what can only be described as desperate damage control:

    From Breitbart:

“Look, the mayor of New York has never, never, ever been the leader of the Democratic Party,” Smith said when asked about Mamdani. “Mamdani isn’t speaking for our party, any more than I’m speaking for our party. It’s a big tent. It’s a big coalition.”

Notice the frantic repetition of “never” and the immediate pivot to that tired “big tent” excuse? This isn’t confidence—this is panic. Smith knows exactly what Mamdani represents, and he’s terrified that the mask has finally been ripped clean off.

But Smith isn’t alone in running scared. Jewish Democrats have sounded alarms with unusual urgency. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz didn’t mince words about Mamdani’s refusal to condemn antisemitic rhetoric, calling it “callous disregard for antisemitism, terrorist activity.” Rep. Jared Moskowitz was equally direct: if Mamdani “can’t say that that’s antisemitic, then obviously he’s going to continue to add to the problem.”

Here’s what makes this moment so deliciously revealing: these aren’t Republicans attacking a Democrat. These are Democrats desperately trying to distance themselves from someone who won their own primary. They’re essentially admitting their party elevated someone whose views are so extreme that even they can’t stomach the political liability.

The truth? Mamdani isn’t an aberration—he’s the logical endpoint of where Democrats have been heading for years. The same party that embraces AOC’s redistributionist fantasies and increasingly tolerates anti-Israel rhetoric is now shocked someone took these positions to their natural conclusion. They created this ideological monster; they just didn’t expect him to speak so plainly about their shared beliefs.

What we’re witnessing isn’t a party rejecting extremism—it’s a party panicking because their extremism got exposed. They don’t object to the underlying communist, redistributionist ideology; they object to saying it out loud. The “big tent” Smith references? It’s always had room for radicals, as long as they knew the code words.

This Democratic civil war should terrify anyone who still believes the party represents mainstream American values. When your own elected officials are warning about the “dangerous” nature of your mayoral candidate, maybe it’s time to admit the party has lost its way entirely. The mask didn’t slip—it was torn off, and what’s underneath is exactly what conservatives have been warning about all along.

  2. Thg – while you may or may not be correct with all or any of the above post which I glanced over thinking that perhaps there would be something about hockey I was saddened to see no nothing hockey related. I am sure you can find other places to post your wisdom rather than sinbin when not hockey related. Just an observation and worth giving it a try. Thanks

    • Emmanuel

Youre like the 987th poster to make this comment. It sucks when you have to scrool past (sometimes multiple) LONG cut & paste articles.

Give it up hdbiker7851, ThG/The hockey God/Donald J Trump/King George V is committed to spamming non-hockey content here at SinBin. It will never stop just so long as they inhabit this earth. Pretty sure we are dealing with significantly advanced age. Sometimes the prose is nearly illegible. Other times when legible it’s because it’s pasted like above or written in by a son or daughter if they even have one.

      • PP – just a long shot on my part – not sure about the prose being nearly illegible – never bother to read it. Figured maybe just maybe a milder approach complementing him or her or it on their wisdom!!!! – (stop laughing that’s not polite) could possibly inspire something different. Notice I refuse to acknowledge the capital “g” when addressing him or her as they already believe they are god and I don’t want to encourage them or it or whatever. Hope you’re having a great summer hockey is only a couple of months away.

I am somehow encouraged by the combined responses to THQ and his BS. Maybe, just maybe, he’ll see that NO ONE wants his incendiary MAGA crap here, including other Repubs
. Thanks to all who have the spines to stand up to his BS, instead of just ignoring it
        . That clearly doesn’t work
, only gives him more reason to post his BS, further pissing off the rest of us. And it’s getting worse, as he clicks and posts his thousand-word Trumpisms attacking the ” others”.. it might not affect you if you’re Maga, but it most assuredly offends the rest of us
. We ALL have one thing in common: our Knights
.W⁰e SHOULD be on the SAME team, but his HATE has divided us, causing constant turmoil.
KEN: SAY SOMETHING, DAMN IT!! DO SOMETHING HERE ON Y-O-U-R SITE!! HE HAS GIVEN SINBIN A BAD NAME AS THE POLITICAL HATE SITE. IMAGINE WHAT NEW VISITORS TO THIS SITE THINK WHEN THEY READ HIS BS! WHAT IF VGK PLAYERS VISIT THIS SITE– WTF DO T-H-E-Y THINK WHEN THEY SEE HIS CRAP .EVERY DAMN DAY??

TS, I studied the Russia Investigation including reading the Mueller Report so I had to allow myself the previous thread to be drawn into ThG’s bullshit revisionist reactionary narrative on the investigation. The guy simply is not able to hold a rational discussion, debate like an intellectual. Rather, out of frustration he resorts to his tired repetitive cliche insults and name calling.

          • ThG

Says the guy who know what a whisteleblower is , completely ignoring new information.

    • ThG

um, I am still waiting for article on the development camp on this hockey site.

      Hockey = politics.

      • TS

You can stop trying to justify YOUR bullshit..people respond in kind to show you how it feels to US when you constantly post your HATE. Even repubs here are sick of you. We ALL are sick of you, with one exception: your bro- bud here, who comes to your rescue whenever someone calls your SHIT out for what it is. You are an unwelcome, unwanted presence here, disliked by all but one.
TIME TO GROW UP, Q..TIME TO ACT LIKE AN ADULT. BE A MAN FOR ONCE, AND STOP DESTROYING KEN’S HOCKEY SITE!! YOU HAVE GOT YOUR NERVE, PISSING OFF PEOPLE EVERY DAY WITH YOUR TWISTED BS! YOU OFFEND US ALL!!

  3. Every game, every part of the long season has to be approached with a ‘we gotta win this game’ mentality.

There are no teams that can be taken for granted, not the Blackhawks nor the sharks, these are teams that may not necessarily be better but are on the cusp of getting better.

VGK looks good on paper at least offensively, but the defense is really unknown, and while Schmid looked good in his limited sample size, with the possibility of playing 30 games in goal, he HAD better be a suitable backup!

    • Emmanuel

Dont be too sure about having a good offense.
Lotsa passers & only 1 pure goal scorer, who has only done it once & lotsa players at the age scoring drops off dramatically.

Your concerns about the blue line are valid, I worry it will cascade unto the goalies. Maybe the F’s make up for it defensively.

Right now their Cup chances have dropped from outside chance-longshot.
Maybe they have a 1st round win in em?

      • Emmanuel, I did refer to the offense ‘on paper’ which effectively indicated I have a concern there as well, but I guess I try to err on the side of positive/hopeful rather than stare at any type of reality 2 months before training camp.

I also believe that VGK is a solid Cup contender as the Front Office and the team itself believes the window of opportunity is still present and all will be done to facilitate that end.

As George Allen, the late great coach of the Redskins said many moons ago .. ‘The future is now’!

“enate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley released declassified documents related to the FBI’s investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email server when she served in the federal government, revealing the FBI reportedly “failed to fully investigate” the matter.

“This document shows an extreme lack of effort and due diligence in the FBI’s investigation of former Secretary Clinton’s email usage and mishandling of highly classified information,” Grassley said in a Monday press release.”

Some posters here still want the FBI to investigate “stuff”.

Every few weeks we’ll call you out when your lead by loyal-to-Donald Trump Tulsi Gabbard indictments of the 2016 “cabal” members don’t show. “1000x bigger than Watergate” you proclaimed. We’re holding you to it. Holding you accountable.

Next up the indictment of Hillary Clinton lead by the pushing 90 year-old loyal-to-Donald Trump Chuck Grassley another “thinker” enfeebled by age.

      ThG
“Gabbard confirmed her intent to send all the uncovered documents to the Department of Justice and the FBI for a criminal referral.

When asked if she expects to see prosecutions, she vowed to do “all that [she] can” to ensure accountability.

“We have many whistleblowers, actually, coming forward now after we released these documents because there are people who were around, who were working within the intelligence community at this time who were so disgusted by what happened,” she shared.

We’re starting to see some of them come out of the woodwork here because they… want to see justice delivered… there must be indictments. Those responsible, no matter how powerful they are and were at that time, no matter who was involved in creating this treasonous conspiracy against the American people, they all must be held accountable.”
oh how the worm has turned, the hunted are now on the hunt. Karma.

The undistinguished qualifications and intellect of our DNI, the Trump loyalist Tulsi Gabbard. After all, how dumb does one have to be to go from whatever you were to a Trump loyalist? Answer: pretty fucking dumb.

Here we can see that, Lora Shiao notwithstanding, who just to look into her eyes is smarter than Gabbard, Gabbard is the only DNI to not hold an advanced degree, attend an Ivy League school or military academy. This is our DNI, stupid enough to go down a rabbit hole chasing the eight and half year-old Mueller Report rather than protecting us against terrorist threats. Trumpism = dumbism.

            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Director_of_National_Intelligence

Thanks a lot Donald for appointing an under qualified, under intellectualized neophyte.

“The primary mission of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) is to lead the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC) and serve as the principal advisor to the President, the National Security Council, and the Homeland Security Council on intelligence matters. The DNI also oversees and directs the National Intelligence Program. Essentially, the DNI’s role is to integrate, synchronize, and coordinate the efforts of the 18 agencies and organizations that make up the IC.

            Here’s a more detailed breakdown:

            Leadership and Integration:
The DNI leads the IC, ensuring its agencies work together effectively to achieve national security goals. This includes integrating intelligence collection, analysis, and counterintelligence efforts.

            Advisory Role:
The DNI provides intelligence-based advice to the highest levels of the U.S. government, informing critical decisions on national security and foreign policy.

            Oversight and Direction:
The DNI oversees the National Intelligence Program, which is the budget for the IC, and directs its implementation.
            National Centers:

The DNI also oversees national centers that integrate and coordinate intelligence activities in specific areas, such as counterterrorism, counterintelligence, counterproliferation, and cybersecurity.
            Key Responsibilities:

The DNI develops and executes the annual budget for the National Intelligence Program, oversees the acquisition of major intelligence systems, and coordinates relationships with foreign intelligence and security services.

            Ensuring Security:
The DNI’s work ultimately contributes to protecting the United States from threats by providing timely and accurate intelligence to policymakers and national security officials.”

Is this anything like the classified attack plans that were shared on an open SIGNAL chat at the Pentagon??? T-H-A-T MISHANDLING??

      • Pistol Pete

TS, noting a Trump administration shortcoming will only bring a tit for tat response. For example on the previous threat I made the point that since Watergate the AG is separate from the POTUS on political matters, which drew the Eric Holder “I am Obama’s wingman”. The point holds: Bondi is biding by the President’s orders on politicized matters like Epstein to name one example and Holder did not. Even if one could dig up a case where Holder did Obama’s bidding on a matter that had potential political consequences, the adage applies: two rights don’t make a wrong.

The AG is after all a Cabinet Member and reports to the President as such. I have never attended a Cabinet meeting but presumably discussion on policy matters is integral to it. There is nothing wrong with the West Wing having a policies agenda but hopefully it evolves from divergent voices, rather than all committed to an ideology such as Trump requires. There is also a difference between the AG acting on West Wing policy as long as it is apolitical and doing the President’s bidding on personal matters. We know Trump has a hair up his ass on past grievances with the Russia investigation chief among them. Being that the Muller Report in the official version, it exonerated the Trump Campaign though not Trump himself on the potential obstruction of justice matters, the Russia Investigation remains a highly personal matter for the President and if the recent Gabbard initiative is any indication some of those in power are doing his bidding in seeking retribution against his enemies, a classic totalitarian move.

“While it’s difficult to definitively say if Eric Holder “did Obama’s bidding,” it’s clear that he was a close ally and confidante of President Obama, and they often worked closely together on policy matters. As Attorney General, Holder frequently implemented policies aligned with Obama’s agenda, and they frequently consulted on legal and political issues.

        Here’s a more detailed look:

        Close Relationship:
Holder served as Obama’s senior legal advisor during the 2008 presidential campaign and was one of the three members of the vice-presidential selection committee.

        Alignment on Policy:
Holder’s tenure as Attorney General saw him implement several policies that were in line with Obama’s priorities, such as those related to criminal justice reform and voting rights.

        Operation Fast and Furious:
One notable instance where Holder faced criticism for his actions related to Obama’s agenda was the “Operation Fast and Furious” scandal. The Justice Department’s inspector general under Obama refused to prosecute Holder, and later cleared him of charges, despite Holder being held in contempt of Congress for his role.

        Gerrymandering Reform:
After leaving office, Holder has been involved in efforts to reform gerrymandering, which aligns with Obama’s public stance on the issue.

While some actions taken by Holder might be seen as implementing Obama’s wishes, it’s important to note that as Attorney General, Holder had a responsibility to uphold the law and pursue justice independently.”

        • Pistol Pete

“the adage applies: two rights don’t make a wrong.”

    We still have posters ignoring:
    many illegal FISA issued warrants.
many whistleblowers coming forth on Brennan saying he knew
cross fire hurricane was a hoax and did nothing but further it.
Ratcliff is an government intelligence agency officer, lawyer, with many year of experience referring Brennan for criminal investigation. Not Tulsi Gabbard.
    The death of SEth Rich.
Of course these posters can’t address these issues, because all they have are talking points from discredited sources such as lame stream media( who ignored the hoax, as well as other hoaxes).
Instead we get “let the FBI look at it” , the same FBI that mishandled Hunter Biden laptop? This poster has their head buried up their stinky butt so far they think their own shit doesn’t stink.

    Now this.

How did Crossfire Hurricane get it’s name.

Crossfire Hurricane was the name the FBI gave to their investigation into candidate and then President Trump, AS WELL AS HIS ADMINISTRATION AFTERWARDS. They knew the intel they had been given was false and had been purchased by his opponent, Hillary Clinton and the DNC, and that it was a dirty trick, but partisans at the senior level of the FBI went along with it anyway in an attempt to smear him and support Hillary. The FBI is supposed to be non-partisan in how they conduct business. Attorney John Durham n in depth investigation into this led to the real reason for the FBI raid on President Trumps home was so they could look for and confiscate any evidence against them he would have gotten during his time in office. He declassified many documents before he left office, note NONE OF THIS SEIZED MATERIAL fuled the Russian Hoax collusion illusion. This FBI leadership who were involved want the gullible and uninformed public to believe their raid was about something else, and not an effort to cover their a$$ over something they knowingly did to favor the party committing a criminal act.

    • The hockey God

Crossfire hurricane cost the GOP the mid term elections, GOP lost the HOUSE and likely cost Trump the 2020 election. So it’s not only an abuse of power by the DEMS and Clapper/Brennan crowd. It is outright treason. An example of party over country. Be it as it is.

  6. ThG

Who is John Ratcliffe? John Lee Ratcliffe is an American politician and attorney who has served as the ninth director of the Central Intelligence Agency since 2025. He previously served as the sixth director of national intelligence from 2020 to 2021 and served in the United States House of Representatives from 2015 to 2020.

Hardly disqualified, but of course we have posters here who wouldn’t know a qualified individual based upon the fact that Biden’s candidate was most unqualified in last 60 years. But you won’t convince them, because they “studied” it. Sure they did. Studying talking points from fake news leads to conclusion of “garbage in ” = “garbage out”. In other words, they are full of shit.

They also studied man made global cooling, opps they changed the name to , man made global “warming, opps, that didn’t work out. So they changed the name to man made “climate change”. Opps that isn’t doing so well, try again. How about “local temperature aberrations caused by man”. This is all hoax, they can’t explain why the surrounding temperature in our solar system is rising and Mars is also seeing a temperature rise. It is all beyond comprehension. Effect is not causation. Just because you see something happening doesn’t means it is caused by man.

Then we have the clown talking about Signal Chat, which was instituted by the BIDEN misadministration.

All they do is spin and twist and avoid the truth , facts.

    The Brennan Forgery
Obama’s CIA director falsify evidence showing Russiagate was a hoax, aka crossfire hurricane.
    by Lee Smith

Last week, CIA Director John Ratcliffe referred former CIA Director John Brennan to the FBI for a criminal investigation. Some reports claim the referral relates to Brennan potentially having perjured himself before Congress. But on Wednesday, President Donald Trump may have pointed to another direction the FBI probe may take. In an interview with reporter John Solomon, Trump said he would declassify an annex to the May 2023 report filed by John Durham, the special counsel appointed during Trump’s first term to investigate Russiagate.

The annex, according to Solomon, deals with the “Clinton Plan intelligence”—and, says Solomon, “lawmakers and Durham have suggested it would provide damning evidence to any prosecutor.” Trump told Solomon, “I will absolutely declassify it.”

The “Clinton Plan Intelligence” refers to intelligence the CIA received in late July 2016 from a Dutch spy agency. The Dutch had penetrated a Russian intelligence agency that appears to have hacked the emails of Clinton allies and Democratic officials. And it was from these communications that the Russians learned the Clinton campaign had devised a plan to smear Trump as a Russian agent to deflect attention from her use of a private email server.

According to Durham’s final report in May 2023, the U.S. intelligence official “who initially received the information immediately recognized its importance—including its relevance to the U.S. presidential election—and acted quickly to make CIA leadership aware of it.” Brennan himself, the report shows, “personally received a copy of the intelligence.”

Investigators may be pursuing relates to Brennan’s notes about his Aug. 3 briefing at the White House.

According to Brennan’s handwritten notes, in an Aug. 3, 2016, meeting at the White House, he briefed Barack Obama and other U.S. officials, including then Attorney General Loretta Lynch and then FBI Director James Comey, about the Clinton Plan intelligence. The notes claim that he alerted them to the “alleged approval by Hillary Clinton on July 26 of a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisors to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security services.”

Ratcliffe declassified Brennan’s notes in late September 2020, when Ratcliffe was Trump’s director of national intelligence. He also declassified a second Clinton Plan intelligence document that Durham found during his investigation. This was a CIA memo dated Sept. 7, 2016, addressed to Comey and FBI agent Peter Strzok, that referred the Clinton Plan intelligence for further investigative action.

    • ThG

      con’d

What’s odd is that virtually no one working on the FBI’s Trump-Russia investigation, known as Crossfire Hurricane, saw the CIA memo. According to Durham’s report, “None of the FBI personnel who agreed to be interviewed could specifically recall receiving this Referral Memo, nor did anyone recall the FBI doing anything in response to the Referral Memo.”

For instance, former FBI general counsel James Baker told Durham “that he had neither seen nor heard of the Clinton Plan intelligence or the resulting Referral Memo prior to his interview” with Durham. (why do you think that is ? Who was head of CIA ?)

      More on John Brennan
Same with Supervisory Special Agent-1, reportedly an FBI agent named Joe Pientka. According to the report, when Durham showed Pientka the information, he became “visibly upset and emotional, left the interview room with his counsel, and subsequently returned to state emphatically that he had never been apprised of the Clinton Plan intelligence and had never seen the aforementioned Referral Memo. Supervisory Special Agent-1 expressed a sense of betrayal that no one had informed him of the intelligence.” (who should have informed him, and why didn’t they do it? See below)

According to the Durham report, Comey and Obama’s director of national intelligence, James Clapper, were briefed on the Clinton Plan intelligence. But there’s no evidence that Brennan, Comey, Clapper, or any other Obama official included the Clinton Plan intelligence in any of their preelection briefings on Russian interference to Senate and House leadership and oversight committees.

Same after the election—none of Obama’s spy chiefs ever mentioned the Clinton Plan intelligence. Obama reportedly told Brennan that he wanted his CIA director to include everything the intelligence community had on Russian interference in the 2016 election for the intelligence community assessment (ICA) that the outgoing president wanted completed before he left office. But there’s nothing about the Clinton Plan intelligence in the ICA. Of course, it would have been a POWERFUL REBUTTAL to the ICA’s central conclusion that Putin sought to help Trump win the 2016 election. Or it would have made the assessment entirely invalid.

Brennan neglected to mention the Clinton Plan intelligence during his testimony before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence on May 17, 2017, or before the House Intelligence Committee a week later. And, obviously, the former CIA chief never talked about the Clinton Plan intelligence during his many TV appearances on NBC and elsewhere.

It’s clear why the Clinton Plan intelligence was buried and why none of the FBI officials Durham interviewed had seen the CIA referral memo. It exposed Russiagate as a hoax, despite the broad preelection media campaign insisting otherwise, including leaks from U.S. officials falsely alleging Trump’s ties to Russia. After the election, the CIA referral memo posed an even greater threat: It gave evidence of a conspiracy involving the top leadership of the American intelligence community, including at least Brennan, Clapper, and Comey, whose FBI investigated Trump as a Russia spy even though the FBI director was made aware it was a dirty trick.

It’s not clear how Brennan found out that Durham had discovered the CIA referral memo and was asking questions about it. Perhaps it was due to a rumor of Pientka’s rage after Durham showed him the document in a July 22, 2020, interview that got Brennan worried. Only two days before Brennan was scheduled to meet with Durham on Aug. 21, the special counsel had confirmed with a U.S. official that Brennan had personally received a copy of the Clinton Plan intelligence. Why, Durham would want to know, hadn’t the CIA referral gotten to the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane team?

Investigators may be pursuing relates to Brennan’s notes about his Aug. 3 briefing at the White House. Did Brennan doctor his notes after he learned Durham had found the CIA memo? Notes showing he’d briefed Obama, Lynch, and Comey would prove he hadn’t buried the memo or the Clinton Plan intelligence but had in fact read in the principals. It wasn’t his fault the Crossfire Hurricane investigators didn’t get the CIA memo—he told Comey about it, and the attorney general and even the president.

Durham interviewed Brennan for eight hours at CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, on Aug. 21, 2020. Durham’s ability to bring any charges was limited because he was under the watchful eye of Joe Biden’s attorney general Merrick Garland. But now? If the statute of limitations on the case is five years, FBI Director Kash Patel has a little more than a month. If, however, the onetime congressional investigator who uncovered Russiagate is building a conspiracy case, law enforcement may have much more time to make sure it’s airtight before bringing charges.

In any event, it’s worth noting that the only genuine piece of Russian intelligence U.S. spy services ever received during the Trump-Russia probe was intelligence that Russia knew the Clinton campaign was behind the effort to dirty Trump as a Russian agent. It seems appropriate that Russian intelligence may lead to the prosecution and conviction of Brennan and the intelligence officials responsible for the biggest political scandal in U.S. history. That is ironic, isn’t it?

now let the local flip flop master, and spinster, spin away with
Ratcliff is incompetent, or Rolling Stone says this or that. Or whatever nonsense his fake news outlet talking points put out there for sheeple consumption. (translation: propaganda for low IQ individuals to dupe them)

“According to Durham’s final report in May 2023, the U.S. intelligence official “who initially received the information immediately recognized its importance—including its relevance to the U.S. presidential election—and acted quickly to make CIA leadership aware of it.” Brennan himself, the report shows, “personally received a copy of the intelligence.”

The issue in the IC is whether it was “actionable intelligence”. So it was vetted.

“According to Brennan’s handwritten notes, in an Aug.

In fact it was already developed from Crossfire Hurricane that Russian agents were meddling in the election. This was one claim in the Steele Dossier that was corroborated.

“Ratcliffe declassified Brennan’s notes in late September 2020, when Ratcliffe was Trump’s director of national intelligence. He also declassified a second Clinton Plan intelligence document that Durham found during his investigation. This was a CIA memo dated Sept. 7, 2016, addressed to Comey and FBI agent Peter Strzok, that referred the Clinton Plan intelligence for further investigative action.”

The “Clinton Plan” involving the commissioning of what became know as the Steele Dossier is an example of opposition research (OR) standard practice in U.S. elections. The fact that most of the claims in the Steele Dossier were not corroborated at the time the Clinton campaign received it is a grey area. In fact, because it was not corroborated at the time it’s existence became known to certain sources, mainstream media did not release it until after the election. Naturally once it’s existence became known it was scrutinized by the IC and the WH. This happened ahead of the election and contents of the dossier did not become known to the public until after the election, therefore it’s impact on it was zero.

The Steele Dossier was not fake. Due to Steele’s well deserved reputation as a British spy in Russian matters and the outward credibility of certain claims in the Dossier the U.S. IC had to take it seriously and they did for good reason as it did contain actionable intelligence. Albeit some/much of this was already acted in the work of Operation Crossfire Hurricane, but still.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steele_dossier

While the dossier played a significant role in initially highlighting the general friendliness between Trump and the Putin administration, the corroboration status of specific allegations is highly variable. The following allegations have been publicly corroborated by U.S. intelligence agencies, the January 2017 ODNI report,[12] and the Mueller report:[13] “that the Russian government was working to get Mr. Trump elected”;[b] that Russia sought “to cultivate people in Trump’s orbit”;[b] that Trump campaign officials and associates had secretive contacts with Russian officials and agents;[14][15][16] that Putin favored Trump over Hillary Clinton;[12][17] that Putin personally ordered an “influence campaign” to harm Clinton’s campaign and to “undermine public faith in the US democratic process”;[12] and that he ordered cyberattacks on both parties.[12] Some other allegations are plausible but not specifically confirmed,[18][19] and some are dubious in retrospect but not strictly disproven.[20][21][22]

It is apparent you have a reading comprehension issue

“According to Durham’s report, “None of the FBI personnel who agreed to be interviewed could specifically recall receiving this Referral Memo, nor did anyone recall the FBI doing anything in response to the Referral Memo.””

Still nothing on Ratcliffe’s immense qualifications
or illegal FISA warrants issued or murder of Seth Rich or complete debunking of Steele dossier or new information from whistleblowers.
you are years behind in the news cycle regurgitating fake news talking points now being debunked by the minute.

ThG I know you think as this Trump “smear campaign” on the 2016 investigation accelerates you are becoming more confident but in the end we’ll still hold you accountable lol. We’ll be sure to check in every month or two lol.

    Pistol Pete

Karma.

We’ll be waiting for results ThG not just a bunch of hot air. Congressional hearings followed by indictments. Anything short of it and it’s egg on your face. Egg you will never be able to wipe off. We’ll be here to haunt you, hound you forever! No excuses either. No trying to walk it back.

      • Pistol Pete

I am just a little surprised the Trumpers are so naive as to think Trump and his army of insiders will ever be able to walk back the Mueller Report because it memorialized the entire process of the Russia investigation, armoring it against any potential attempts to dismantle it and discredit those in the Obama administration and the IC community involved. The whole freaking process inside and out is supported by IG reports. You can’t walk that shit back. Pointing to missteps here and there won’t do it.

        • Pistol Pete

George Papadopolous single handedly caused the Crossfire Hurricane operation. Nothing happened before or after to cause it. Complete transparency. That is what makes this most recent Trump attack on the investigation now that he is back in power so stupid. Nothing happened before or after Papadopolous to bring on the Russia investigation and nothing corrupted it. Ironclad.

If one looks far enough back before the 2016 campaign one will find evidence of Russia being investigated for potential election interference so it was nothing new, but not until 2016 was a campaign dumb enough to have campaign workers with ties to Russia.

Eventually and against Bannon’s advice Trump fired Comey and got himself a special prosecutor and subsequently engaged in additional acts of obstruction. How childish. What a moron.

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Papadopoulos

From March to August 2016, Papadopoulos “was identified as having contacts with senior members of the Trump campaign on at least a dozen occasions.”[48] Papadopoulos’s wife, then his fiancée, said in 2017 that his job in the campaign was to set up meetings with foreign leaders and that he had been in regular contact with high-ranking campaign officials.[49] Papadopoulos sent emails concerning meeting with Putin to at least seven campaign officials.

At a breakfast meeting at the Andaz London Liverpool Street hotel on April 26, 2016, Mifsud told Papadopoulos that he had information that the Russians have “dirt” on Hillary Clinton, namely, “the Russians had emails of Clinton, they have thousands of emails.”[50]: 7 [51][52]

On May 10, 2016, at London’s Kensington Wine Rooms, Papadopoulos allegedly told the Australian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Alexander Downer, who was accompanied by Australian diplomat Erika Thompson, that “one of the reasons [Trump would win] was that…the Trump team had received some kind of suggestion from Russia that it could assist this process with the anonymous release of information during the campaign that would be damaging to Mrs Clinton (and President Obama).”[53]

Between March and September 2016, Papadopoulos made at least six requests for Trump or representatives of his campaign to meet in Russia with Russian politicians.[60] Senator Richard Burr, the chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, which investigated Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections, said in October 2017 that the panel was interested in Papadopoulos because he had sent e-mails attempting to set up meetings between Trump and Putin.[61] The recipients of emails about outreach to the Russian government reportedly were Clovis, Corey Lewandowski, Manafort, Gates, representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ivan Timofeev, and others.[62]
