@SinBinVegas Twitter Q&A – July 22nd, 2026

Summer is boring. Let's do a Q&A.
Ask me anything. I'll answer all of them for the next few hours.
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) July 22, 2026

My assumption is that VGK attempted to find a trade suitor for him this summer and couldn't. So, if that changes, I believe VGK is ready to move on at any moment.
If no one is willing to meet VGK's price (or VGK willing to meet theirs) then I expect him to be in a goalie… https://t.co/dVX3Y4K7LA
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) July 22, 2026

Can't see him playing anywhere else. I'd imagine he'll re-up with Vegas for something similar to what he's paid now for about 3-4 years, which is a steal… as long as he's healthy. https://t.co/c6iM7rCQUb
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) July 22, 2026

Easy answer is Suzuki for Pacioretty.
That being said, for me it's Marc-Andre Fleury for Mikael Hakkarainen. He should have retired a Golden Knight. The feeling around the organization would be so much different if they did the right thing in that situation. https://t.co/UZsHZlmBhR

Let's do a late-night Q&A
(I'll answer all the ones I miss tonight in the morning)
Fire away…
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) September 6, 2025

Should be:
Stone
Eichel-Hertl-Dorofeyev
Marner
I believe any other combination is a mistake. https://t.co/SD9kod5TxL
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) September 6, 2025

No change.
I'm still on the same track with him I always have been. If the team in front of him is excellent defensively, he'll be excellent. If the team in front of him is average defensively, he'll be average. If the team is front of him is awful defensively… https://t.co/6CvrV0tGsb
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) September 6, 2025

As far as I know there are no plans for a new jersey for VGK this season.
I do believe they'll have a new one (or maybe even two) next season. https://t.co/gfeLMmBixS
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) September 6, 2025

Beginning of the season, absolutely not.
I could see it happening near the deadline or next summer.
I don't completely buy the notion that Andersson said Vegas is the only place he'll go. https://t.co/6mbC9ptnIr
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) September 6, 2025

I don't, because I think Eichel will be locked up long before McDavid ever hits the market. https://t.co/4MBB1fSYZo
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) September 6, 2025

I think the Eichel camp is slow-playing it a bit hoping the Kaprizov and/or McDavid deals get done before the year.
In the end, I think both sides prefer to get it done before the season starts, so it'll happen with whatever info is available before October 8.
Guessing: 8… https://t.co/36sHqxAf2D
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) September 6, 2025

McCrimmon told Pierre LeBrun on the Athletic this morning that he believes Hutton has "a lot more to give than people realize"
Based on that quote alone, it wouldn't shock me if he takes Lauzon's spot in the starting lineup. I'd still expect Lauzon to get it, but I'm questioning… https://t.co/pQJ48mH8fQ

Bored on a Friday night, let's talk hockey, or something else.
Ask me anything, I'll answer them all.
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) November 2, 2024

Classic 7th/8th defenseman. He's there giving it everything in practice every day and he does it with a smile on his face. It takes a special dude to be able to fill that role and he's it (so were Nick Holden and Brad Hunt). https://t.co/iuVUTzjuWB
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) November 2, 2024

Nothing beyond week-to-week. Typically the way we deal with that in the media is when they say day-to-day, we ask every day, week-to-week we ask every week.
Cassidy said week-to-week earlier this week, so we'll have to bug him again for an update next week. https://t.co/Zq6GSPgSFm
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) November 2, 2024

Utah is a tricky team for VGK because of what they do well. They create turnovers and strike quickly off the rush. That's been where VGK have been worst this season. It's a tough game, but Utah isn't great defensively with the injuries, so I expect a bunch of goals and a VGK W. https://t.co/NEehCOXpzN
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) November 2, 2024

I'd say they are on the cusp of it but not quite a true contender compared to some of the league's best teams. I still question the long-term reliability of the wingers and I'm not convinced this roster can play Cassidy-style defense nightly, which makes me weary of goalies. https://t.co/KqWNNHtP3n
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) November 2, 2024

I'd expect him to get a look back on PP1. As for 5-on-5, a lot will depend on how they are playing at the time. If he were back tomorrow, I'd put him with Karlsson and Holtz. I could see his return meaning the breakup of the top line, which I'd be fine with. https://t.co/DLPaOEbgOA
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) November 2, 2024

Gotta go with Zach Whitecloud. Personable, extremely likeable, accountable, always knows what to say in every situation. https://t.co/3rVT5S52tB

I'd go one and one if they aren't ready. Probably give Patera the first one and then Saville the second. https://t.co/nwVO6ERnp2
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) December 27, 2023

Official status is out indefinitely.
Unofficially, it feels like VGK want his existence flushed off the face of the planet. That being said, Robin hasn't been willing to share his side of what's going on yet either so it's hard to say exactly what's going on. https://t.co/8wPiHZwLdZ
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) December 27, 2023

I think it'll depend on the status of the goalies in the near future. If it's gonna be a while on one or both, they'll definitely look to plug that hole. https://t.co/UZJxFYThR0

@SinBinVegas Twitter Q&A – February 7th, 2023

On February 7, 2023

It's time for morning Q&A! Ask me anything.
To answer your first question, I believe VGK will use some, if not all, of the available LTIR money to try and help the team make the playoffs. Personally, I disagree with this strategy. I'd hold or even sell.
Ok, ask anything else…
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) February 7, 2023

If there's a player available, VGK will be looking at him. I'd imagine they'll look for at least one bonafide scorer (Tarasenko, Kane, Meier…) and a grinder (Barbashev, Acciari…). Wouldn't shock me if they are in on the stay-at-home defenseman too (Gavrikov, Edmundson…) https://t.co/hOz01w0EZu
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) February 7, 2023

I'd be fairly open for business trying to acquire 1st round picks and/or prospects that will be ready to play in the NHL next year. Literally, no one is off limits.
As for the rebuild, start by finding the right winger for Eichel, then go big/defensive everywhere else. https://t.co/9BZhimFy9s
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) February 7, 2023

If he plans on coming back and playing, it's going to have to be for VGK, at least at the start. Can't see another team stepping up before they know he's capable of being the Robin Lehner of old.
VGK's best bet is him returning to his old form though. If he can, that's huge. https://t.co/HZhlMH250A
