SinBin.vegas is proud to introduce, as if that’s necessary, our newest columnist Steve Carp.
Steve Carp covered the Vegas Golden Knights for the Las Vegas Review-Journal from 2015 to 2018. A six-time Nevada Sportswriter of the Year, the Brooklyn, New York, native has lived and worked in Las Vegas since 1988. During that time, while working first at the Las Vegas Sun and the Review-Journal, he has covered virtually every major sporting event in Las Vegas. Carp has won numerous writing awards from the Nevada Press Association, Sigma Delta Chi, the Society of Professional Journalists and the Associated Press Sports Editors.
Steve is the author of the new book “Vegas Born: The Remarkable Story of the Golden Knights.” Carp also recently began serving as the senior editor of Gaming Today, a Las Vegas based weekly publication that has been dedicated to sports wagering and the casino industry for more than 40 years.
It’s great to be returning to the rink and working with two passionate hockey fans in Ken and Jason. I’m excited and looking forward to reconnecting with the Golden Knights’ fan base and hockey fans in general in Las Vegas and beyond. And my thanks to the Jimmerson Law Firm for sponsoring the column. I look to pick up where I left off in June and provide SinBin.vegas followers with the coverage and insight they were accustomed to seeing from me in the past. -Steve Carp
To borrow the words of the great Ron Burgandy, he’s kind of a big deal.
All of Steve’s work here on SinBin.vegas is made possible because of our amazing sponsor the Jimmerson Law Firm.
For over twenty-five years, the Jimmerson Law Firm has been widely recognized as one of Las Vegas’s preeminent full-service law firms. Specializing in high stakes business, civil and family litigation, the Jimmerson Law Firm has an unparalleled track record of winning when it matters most. Over and over again, the Jimmerson Law Firm has delivered successful results for its clients whether it be at the bargaining table or in the courtroom.
When Mike Tyson sought to be relicensed to fight after the incident with Evander Holyfield, it was the Jimmerson Law Firm that won Tyson’s licensing hearing before the Nevada Athletic Commission. When Steve Wynn went through his divorce, he chose the Jimmerson Law Firm for his representation. And just this week, the Nevada Supreme Court completely affirmed the Jimmerson Law Firm’s trial victory involving one of Las Vegas’s most contested land development disputes.
The Jimmerson Law Firm’s continued success is the result of its attorneys’ commitment to achieving their clients’ goals and never-ending pursuit of excellence.
SinBin.vegas readers should call the Jimmerson Law Firm when they are in need of effective representation in business, civil and family litigation. When the issues in dispute are that important, or when losing simply isn’t an option, SinBin.vegas readers can trust that the attorneys at the Jimmerson Law Firm can go the distance and will tirelessly fight to achieve their clients’ desired results.
The Jimmerson Law Firm is proud to support Steve Carp’s twice-weekly columns on SinBin.vegas. Carp’s columns will post every Sunday and Wednesday starting with his first on October 31st.
