Quotes

So, this guy, this effing guy, yeah, I know, I know. So, he was here day one, yeah. And I know you have been here day fucking one. You guys are so amazing. We played Arizona in the first game, and we beat the shit out of them. And I had no points. No points. But that’s ok, because that year one I was pretty fucking great (with hip thrust). But you guys were greater. We’ve been on this journey… no no no… listen to me. We’ve been waiting for six long years for this guy to be MVP. Jonathan. Marchessault.

I’m speechless! Seeing them unbridled is refreshing! I know they are human but you can see the compete in them with a few beers! Wild Bill, hell yeah you shut down Mc David knowing you can score too, bow your chest young man! Fbombs, having maybe one more than needed, it’s ok! And the Abba song! I mean egg a brother on!
All in all unbelievable year for a team all NHL channel said wouldn’t make the playoffs. Play for the Crest, not the name and number on the back, that’s what Bruce preached, they believed and the rest they say is history. No I in team!
Congrats VGK! I’m from Texas, never played but fell in love with them on a trip to Vegas their 1st year, so happy for them and all the class they show. Let’s do it again!!!

  2. Tony

From known nothing trailer park types lining the strip, to drunken “get off the stage” dreg off by Karlsso s ugly wife, to the lowest TV ratings ever for a cup final, this whole thing is a joke…no class team gifted this fake success by a weak NHL

    • TS

      Tony = killjoy
      Florida loser, by chance?

      • Richie-Rich

I love it when a Vegas hater posts here on SinBin. It’s so much more glorious knowing that fuck sticks like that are so pissed off that they feel a need to try and vent their pent up vomit on our site.

Makes winning all the more joyous! Thank you Tony Fuck Stick!

    • Jeff

Your post is so full of inaccuracies it’s not even worth my time. Just one tidbit of info for you… Karlsson is married to a woman that was on the Bachelor…far from ugly. That was a publicist you retard. Do a little more research on the TV ratings while you’re at it.

Wait…..oh yeah….fuck off and keep crying… you’re our bitch now.

      • Richie-Rich

Great response Jeff. Yes, that was the PR director, Kim something or other. It’s her job to keep the clean image of the team going. I certainly don’t envy her that job on Saturday! Wild Bill’s wife is a rock solid 10. Gorgeous.

    @ Trip
“Play for the Crest, not the name and number on the back”

yep, the crowd size was a bit disappointing, no way near the number of people they expected.

    • TS

It looked huge on TV, estimates between 100-200,000. They had to close down the Plaza, many didn’t get in…

      • THE hockey GOD

        RR where you there ?

      • THE hockey GOD

        TS
TV is an illusion, no wonder Joe Biden fuckered his way into WH. Don’t believe
        anything you see on TV.

        • TS

          You are HILARIOUS, THG!!!

        • Richie-Rich

At Biden’s age he ain’t fuckering anything except the country. But hey, we at least agree on something. No go back and eat your wheaties.

      • Alex

Ignore that lonely old man who not only didn’t go to the parade, he had no one to go with…I was there…at least 100K people – ALL totally into the VGK…no scumbags to speak of, and the mood was 100% positive! No bandwagon types at all! All fans. He is a lonely old man with no friends, no prospects, no nothing.

        • TS

Alex, awesome you went! A Strip Celebration—Oh, what a night to remember!! And a SC memory of a LIFETIME!!!!

          • THE hockey GOD

TS , Alex was released from parole and had no where else to go.

            We all know it.

I was there with friends from back east, and they were the ones making the observations. Pretty obvious to anyone sober.

          • THE hockey GOD

            TS
you weren’t there, you have no say in this matter.

            so GFY
            as usual.

          • Richie-Rich

Triggering “god” has been the most fun about this forum!

    • Richie-Rich

I have no idea where you were at, but that crowd was huge and the parade and rally was fantastic. LOL. Someone shat in your wheaties.

      • THE hockey GOD

Toshiba plaza only holds about 7000 people, they maybe fit in a few extras. The streets were lined about 12 deep.

This crowd was no where near NYE crowd size. And I have been on the Strip during NYE when 400,000 people attended.

I would estimate the total size of round 30,000 to 70,000 people. 100k as an extreme outlier

Part of problem of low crowd size is that only a portion of strip was open for the parade route.

Unlike NYC and other parades back east, where they DO GET 100,000 people in which the parade route is extended and people are 20, 30 and 40 deep along the parade route. .

  4. Jailbird

Well, we had a few drunken soldiers. Ha. Karly was clearly a little too gone. But, great celebration. Glad I stayed home to watch. Maybe no hockey for three months, but FA signings period coming up . Always something to look forward to.

  5. THE hockey GOD

Vegas in six over takes Flyers in seven as fastest team to win Stanley Cup.

Exaggeration comment of day “We will pass the Canadians as franchise with most Stanley Cup wins” –
    Foley

HAR HAR HAR hee hee hee hoo hoo hoo ROFLMAO

    • Richie-Rich

It’s not a stretch that prediction. Players no longer want to play in Canada. They play in Vegas because it’s a great city for one, the weather is great most of the year, and the biggest benefit is no income tax. Property taxes on the other hand are going up thanks to one fuck stick Republican State Senator Hammond who voted with democrats in the upper chamber to raise them (Assembly Bill 1). That tax increase is going to hit the top players hard. But still, no income tax here.

I could definitely see a back-to-back, and possibly even a 3 peat if they make the right moves and stay healthy.

Yeah, I have come out of the darkness and into the light Pistol Pete!

  6. knights fan in minny

3 stars of the night number 1 wild bill number 2 hauge and hill number 3 bob hauge looked like he was a little kid again

    • TS

…and HILL sure can hold a LOT of beer! Holy cow, that guy can down a beer in ONE swig! I really worried one of them would fall off the bus! (Kolesar was tasked with holding onto Wild Bill so he didn’t!) Hilarious!

  7. Pistol Pete

Myself, wife and son were about 20 ft. from the street as the parade passed Park MGM. Very cool. First vehicle included Foley. Everyone was there across the dozen or so buses in the procession including all the management, scouts and presumably various other corporate staff. A further bonding experience between the VGK organization and the fans. Would not have missed it for the world. Getting a spot for the rally effectively meant going into the Plaza at least four hours ahead with no place to sit. We passed on that. The parade however was an entirely different experience from the rally and worth it. Only bummer was getting out of the crowd. There were barriers from about 40 ft. from the street effectively trapping the crowd within. You may begin to fear a crushing or trampling which can happen in those situations. Best thing is to just relax and go with the crowd. We actually passed through the barrier as someone opened up which did not please law enforcement. For a time they closed the bridge from NYNY to Excalibur due to over capacity apparently…there was a huge line at the escalator. Eventually they reopened the bridge which we accessed from the second floor of NYNY. Took then tram back to Mandalay Bay where we have employee parking privileges.

    • Richie-Rich

My wife and I got down there early, we had a few beers and a sandwich at the BierHaus and then parked out at the bottom of the escalator area in the plaza. We didn’t last long. It was hot. Many of the players took off their shirts. I was hoping for some hotties to take theirs off too, but unfortunately it didn’t happen. We wound up having to head back up to our room in NYNY after a while because of the heat. It was 90+ and no shade where we were standing.

We had a good view. Great evening. MASSIVE CROWDS. It was a SC rally for the ages. Wild Bill crossed the line, but I don’t think many in the crowd were put off by it. The celebration was epic.

  8. vgk21

Wild Bill lived up to his nickname. He was clearly the first star of Toshiba Plaza.

forget Seth “Freakin” Rollins…we’ve got William “Freakin” Karlsson.

Love the honest assessment of his first season…and love the fact that he plowed right into it AFTER Reilly Smith warned him it was on TV.

all in all a great season and a fitting sendoff.

now, get Hill and Barbie signed, and let’s do it again.

  9. Tim

How can you not love Wild Bill that speech will live in infamy along with the mystic of the Vegas Golden Misfits. Repeat in year 7 and really piss off the hockey world. 200,000 thousand show up for the parade not bad for our little desert town. My wife came to Vegas when there were 50,000 people sin the valley I came a few years later when we had maybe 150,000 people in the valley now last night they had more people at the parade them we had in the valley. It’s hard for us to comprehend what happened to our dusty little town.

    • TS

Tim, moved here from Reno in 1974. Maryland Pkwy. was the center of the action back then. Decatur Blvd was the most West main arterial. Did this city ever EXPLODE since then. It sure took a LONG time to get a PRO team, and I NEVER envisioned it being a HOCKEY TEAM!! Baseball, basketball, maybe. But HOCKEY IN THE DESERT???? WHO WOULDA THUNK IT!!

      • Tim

TS,, so right Decatur was the end of the world and the Boulevard mall was the place to shop.Personally I liked the town small we all had our favorite hangouts the Quickie Quickie, The Sneak Joint, Elbow Room , placed to eat The Flame was our favorite, Now were a big city and I’m OK with that. We don’t go to the strip anymore the hotels are like cities within cities, that train has left the station. We had a love affair with the Running Rebels under Tark not so much since he left. Now we have the Vegas Born Golden Knights and that’s cool. I’m not to crazy about The Raiders but there here, The A’s coming sucks the cheapest owner would much rather have an expansion team and build from the ground up. I guess pro basketball is right around the corner. We’ll have all 4 pro teams which is kind of amazing to me but out with the old and in with the new. I’m just glad I’ve seen both sides and I’ve had 3 generations born in Vegas and this is from a guy who was on his way to California and stopped in Vegas and here we are 60 years later.

        • TS

Tim, what a story you have! I went to games when Tark coached. He and my dad were friends through those years through business dealings. The Championship ( in ’90, was it?) was magical, too. Entire city got on board. But it ended so badly for Tark. I was disgusted, I stopped watching. Went to football games for YEARS, but it just got too painful to watch the losses.
I feel the same kind of magic with the VGK, but I don’t envision the bad ending of dome of UNLV’s sports programs . I feel the VGK will be in the mix for a long time. The roots are very STRONG. The bond is SET. HOME- GROWN MAGIC!!

        • TS

Hush Puppy STILL serves up the BEST catfish! That was a Sunday dinner for my family! Macayo, another staple for years.

          • THE hockey GOD

nobody here is interested in your personal bull shit stories, you shouldn’t even be sharing this crap on internet in first place. Only demented people do this sort of thing.

          • Alex

I actually like your personal stories, TS…ignore that lonely old crank who wasn’t at the same parade I was at – it was at !east 100,000 people, and the vibe was all positive and chock full of real fans. He’s a sad lonely old crank with no friends and no hockey knowledge… He just parrots what he reads on line …

TS, you’re a cool fan…loyal, optimistic but a little naive – trying to correct morons like this maga cuck fake hockey god with his superstitious BS religious nonsense and his “I know hockey you dont” drive is pointless… He’s a sad lonely old guy with no friends or family… Just don’t read his posts and don’t respond …

          • Richie-Rich

Says God, who posts all sorts of irrelevant bullshit in this forum! He is truly a blessing to this forum. What in the world would we do without him!

We can at least thank him for sending Satan back to Hades!

          • According to the Review Journal: At least 7,000 fans packed into the plaza, perhaps too many because Las Vegas police had to close the area off before the Knights players arrived.

Yahoo Sports: As expected, the festivities lived up to the Sin City billing, with the 100,000+ fans in attendance being treated to a party of epic proportions in a way that only Las Vegas could deliver.

NHL: Approximately 200,000 people lined the parade route down Las Vegas Boulevard and filled Toshiba Plaza, which is adjacent to T-Mobile Arena, on Saturday to celebrate the Vegas Golden Knights’ first Stanley Cup title.

          • TS

No one is interested in YOUR BULLSHIT, THG. Haven’t you figured that out by now?? Why do you think so many other posters call you out for your BS and angry, judgemental posts???? STAY OUT OF MY LANE, DUDE. YOU are NOT my GOD. NOT MY MASTER. NOW, IN YOUR OWN WORDS: STFU AND GFY!!!!

    • Bobby

Can you imagine the meltdown when we go back-to-back?? If NHL fans were sick of Tampa get ready for this one!

  10. Jailbird

I hear ya Tim. I first moved here in 1996. Just a basic freeway then no outer loop etc. Had to move away, for family reasons 2000, and swore I would retire here in future. Which I did in 2015. What a difference it was then. Then the Knights came. Just a joy!

  11. Emmanuel

I remember ‘94, no traffic and empty lots…..

  12. TS

Now THAT’S a VEGAS- sized Party! Oh, what fun, and DRUNK, the boys were, just loved the Fans’ Chants and cheers! And the guys LEADING!! Great celebration!! IDK about passing Stanley through the crowd though…a bit dicey there….SO DAMN PROUD RIGHT NOW!!

  13. Sorvino

Great Stanley Cup Rally. I just went to Toshiba Plaza and waited for them to arrive.

  14. THE hockey GOD

i didn’t see any of the regular T mobile ticket holders, the parade goers where a bunch of johnny come lately peeps getting on the wagon.

They will depart when the going gets tough, typical wagon jumpers.

    • TS

I’m not a ” ticket holder”. I cheer from home. I go to practices. Am I a wagon- jumper, because i simply cannot pay for tickets? Iconsider myself to be a loyal fan, just as much as ” ticket holders are. Don’t you think there are THOUSANDS of loyal fans just like me in Vegas, considering T- mobile holds only, like, 18,000?? You underestimate Vegas!

      • THE hockey GOD

90% of these people never went to practice , been to a game, or know anything about hockey.

bunch of jump on your wagon type, typical vegas losers.

they were there just to party and get free stuff, it was pretty obvious. For someone , who claims they are a fan , and wasn’t even there. I was there. I saw it, so as usual you are clueless because you weren’t there.

On top of that there were a lot of tourists, obviously not VGK fans.

When I post something I back it up, you on other hand, typical clueless rant.

        • TS

Well, I guess you know it all, then. How DARE those tourists stand on the Strip and join the VGK party. Shame on anyone who wanted to share the celebration with REAL fans like you, huh?? ( code for ” fans with MONEY)
It was your negative comment about the crowd and their “loyalty” that is objectionable. . Last I knew, tourists AND locals are allowed to party and celebrate on the Strip. ” REAL FANS” or NOT.

          • THE hockey GOD

your posts show a complete lack of understanding

            clueless as usual.

The term wagon jumper completely evades your feeble minded posts.

what part of jumping on wagon is NOT clear to you.

Just another Karen rant by idiot fan base, unsophisticated posters here.

        • TS

90% are Clueless about Hockey?? Does your psychic sense tell you that? Does your “God” status gives you this all- knowing power?? Come on, man. If you want to bitch, keep it REALISTIC. 90%???? Please…….

          • TS

Btw: there are plenty of ” tourists” who ALSO support our team.. people all over America who ALSO are VGK fans.. could it POSSIBLY be that some of those ” tourusts” were actually FANS, too???

          • THE hockey GOD

TS I was at the games,
I ran into dozens of tourists, and most of them
had tickets on the stinky pussycats, and they left
half way through the third period

so much for you bull shit posts, as usual clueless.

          • THE hockey GOD

            tickets, meaning wagers

          • THE hockey GOD

            no TS

It doesn’t take a rocket science to figure it out, but then you being clueless as usual wouldn’t know the difference.

I can tell by looking at them, half of them couldn’t even speak English, weren’t dressed the part, were clueless like you at the event,
and were just there for hand outs and to party. Typical Vegas grifters, illegal scum,, wanna bees and posers. They weren’t wearing any gear, they were no true fans.

I know what I am talking about, I was there, and as usual. You were not.

And then there were plenty of nut jobs there dressed up as your favorite cartoon. And people with their own agenda. A real freak show, that is something you can readily relate too. Being that you support all the perverts, hate, and left wing agenda , pedos, etc.

          • THE hockey GOD

and for the players signatures/mems, these are not true fans they are just
there for collectables and to make some money

            NOT TRUE FANS

            get a frucking clue

        • Jeff

We should all defer to your greatness you are the hockey GOD after all. I’, guessing you’re a typical troll douche. You should take all your negative energy and use it to repeatedly punch yourself in the face.

BTW how does posting crap you made up in your head constitute “backing it up” (90%) (bunch of jump your wagon type).

BTW I was there too, and I saw a bunch of people having a good time, apparently you weren’t one of them you were too busy analyzing the make-up of the crowd so you have something to post on a SinBin message board where no one gives flying fuck about what you say.

          • TS

            Jeff, BRAVO!!

          • THE hockey GOD

            “about what you say”

evidently you do, or you wouldn’t have posted anything

    • Richie-Rich

Who shit in your wheaties? Come on man! Don’t be a dog faced lying pony soldier!

    • Richie-Rich

Stop it. I hate it when a regular original SinBin subscriber embarrasses himself. Go eat your wheaties. Crunch Crunch Crunch….

  15. Jailbird

There certainly were a lot of six year Knights fans that never had the money to afford a ticket to a game. Thousands of loyal fans have never set foot in the Fortress to see a game!

    • TS

Jb, Thank you! My feelings exactly! I’m one of those fans! I never miss a game!

  16. Bobby

Karlsson IS officially King of Las Vegas!! EPIC and Hill rocking the Larry Johnson retro deserves mad props. Gotta re-sign that guy!!! Greatest TEAM effort ever.

    • TS

Bobby, I was going to point out Hill’s Unlv jersey, too! That tells me he likes Vegas, and is showing it. Message to management , perhaps?? I HOPE SO!!

  17. Richie-Rich

What a great celebration. Wild Bill made the rally 10X better than it could have been! There was a mass of humanity. We got overheated and had to exit to the air conditioning of our room at the NYNY. WOW! STANLEY CUP WORLD CHAMPS! BACK2BACK NEXT YEAR, and 2 or 3 more as well. I want to be as hated as the NY YANKEES! I am a Yankee fan by the way. Grew up in north Jersey. Yogi Berra is my favorite player of all time.

    • Sorvino

Richie Rich, I’m a Blue Jays fan and despise the New York Yankees if that makes you feel better. Lol. It is fun to be a fan of a hated team especially if your team has success. Yankees have definitely had success.

There are some VGK haters out there for the same reasons as to why the Yankees are hated which is jealousy. As a VGK fan I embrace that.

    • Vic

RR…..Yogi….15 time All Star, 3 time MVP, 10 time World Series champ, 14 pennants, part of the Normandy invasion on a small rocket boat, and a bit of a quotable guy. You chose your favorite player well.

      • Richie-Rich

I think he coined that famous phrase, It ain’t over till it’s over……

Yogi was known for making the most outrageous comments, but he didn’t need to be blitzed like Wild Bill.

  18. Sorvino

TS, it doesn’t matter whether you went to any games live or not to be a fan. Tickets are not cheap. I live 2300 miles away and have watched every single game on TV since their existence. I’ll even record them if I can’t watch them live and watch the next day. The only two games I have ever gone to were games one and two of the finals against Florida. Spent waaaaay too much money. Midlife crisis decision to spend that money. Hahaha

There is no reason for anyone to be divisive at a time like this when all of the VGK fans both outside and inside the Las Vegas area have merged together to celebrate this championship.

As for the people who are not fans at all but went to the parade, I see nothing wrong with that at all as long as they behaved. In a perfect world, it would be nice if the actual fans were able to be standing closer to the parade then the non fans but in the grand scheme of it all it is always special when thousands of people get together and are having a good time. I already can’t wait for next season to start.

    • Richie-Rich

      The Realm is UKnighted!

    • THE hockey GOD

      @ Sorvino

come to a game, I will buy you a couple of beers.

I thought you weren’t posting ever again ??????????

      cranberry juice.

  19. TS

    Oh, Joy…HE’S BAAAACK…..
    !#!#
To Arnold, you hoodwinked us!! Classic Bait- and – switch!! CURSES!#!#!#!

    • TS

……Says the guy who blasts ANYONE who DARE call YOU out for your insensitive, joy- killing posts. Arnold is your shill– he lies, LIES! There is NO kind heart in you, dude. You’re just a mean, judgemental little man who actually thinks he has the power to pass judgement on others. You throw your nasty labels and accusations around like that’s your mission in life. You can order me to STFU, but you’re NOT my MASTER, my JUDGE OR MY GOD. Take your OWN advice, and STFU, yourself!!

  20. Frank

Wild Bill = Stanley Cup Parade MVP 2023! (honorable metion – Adin Hill with the retro UNLV jersey!!) Let’s do it again next year!

  21. TS

Yes, sir, Sorvino! Jeesh, when Nascar parades on the strip, PLENTY of tourists and non- fans alike are HAPPY to join the Celebration!! What BETTER way to enjoy the Strip, WHOEVER YOU ARE! In my neck of the woods, we call that a PARTY!!

    • TS

Kinda like Mardi Gras in NEW Orleans— Do you have to be a Cajun or practice VooDoo to enjoy the celebration?? HELL NO!!

  22. Jailbird

Well, looks like thg wants to start the off season being noticed again. So let’s all just ignor his shit and stick with hockey. Nothing is going to steal the joy from the real fans!

    • TS

Jb, I promise I will TRY. From now on, I am impervious to ignorance!!

      • THE hockey GOD

only ignorant one here is you, you didn’t even go to parade

you have no say in matter in regard to my posts.
In other words, STFU and FGY.

        clueless troll.

        • TS

Really? Who are YOU to order me around?? Save it for your girlfriend. I have my voice, and you can’t take it away from me!! You are NOTHING to me. Just a MEAN, JUDGEMENTAL, ARROGANT WANNA- BE GOD.
