Summer is boring. Let's do a Q&A.
Ask me anything. I'll answer all of them for the next few hours.

My assumption is that VGK attempted to find a trade suitor for him this summer and couldn't. So, if that changes, I believe VGK is ready to move on at any moment.
If no one is willing to meet VGK's price (or VGK willing to meet theirs) then I expect him to be in a goalie… https://t.co/dVX3Y4K7LA

Can't see him playing anywhere else. I'd imagine he'll re-up with Vegas for something similar to what he's paid now for about 3-4 years, which is a steal… as long as he's healthy. https://t.co/c6iM7rCQUb

Easy answer is Suzuki for Pacioretty.
That being said, for me it's Marc-Andre Fleury for Mikael Hakkarainen. He should have retired a Golden Knight. The feeling around the organization would be so much different if they did the right thing in that situation. https://t.co/UZsHZlmBhR

If they are clearly out of the playoff picture by the deadline there will be a new head coach, new assistants, and a different starting goalie. Everything will be on the table including Karlsson and Stone.
I'd be shocked if that's the case. Being clearly out of the playoff… https://t.co/u3AHpIxZ9P

He should be. It was a partially torn adductor. Typically only about a month-long recovery. https://t.co/oy9rdVIfbJ

I'm completely with you and I think this last run to the Final proved it. That being said, I do not believe those two players are valued the same or even close. And I think that will be proven in the next contracts for both of them. https://t.co/ExbNzdkoR1

I don't expect all that much change at all. Still expecting the same defensive structure. Wouldn't surprise me if they forecheck a little heavier but I'm not sure the roster is actually built to do that. Special teams should look the same.
I do not expect any change to how they… https://t.co/1V83AqSU3c

The short answer to that question is yes and moving Dorofeyev made it even worse.
That being said, the way they scored and how they defended in the playoffs makes me question my own feelings. Could have been just a hot run from a number of guys that covered up some issues, but… https://t.co/IkUVNo3DBx

The 1st round pick was simply trying to acquire the best player available. From there, they clearly wanted to restock the cupboard a bit.
The summer plan follows along with what they've been doing in the past. They like to take their big swings during the season so they can… https://t.co/X7ZdoBU4B6

Clearly he's doing quite a bit right. The aggressive nature has worked out pretty well and their willingness to do things other teams won't has paid off a lot more than it hasn't. Nearly impossible to argue with 3 Cup Finals in 9 seasons.
I do think there has to be a bit more… https://t.co/7b8JWC1tl7

Baker TD passes for sure. He should be pushing 40 this year. I could see Marner getting to 30, not 40.
Theodore goals on the other one. He barely had any PP time last year and still got to 10. I'm assuming he'll get at least a bit more this year. He should be in the teens. Would… https://t.co/uNbt3thuzt

Bowman is a lock. He's basically 100% unless he gets hurt. Cormier and Sapovaliv both seem unlikely to me though it wouldn't shock me if both see NHL time this year. Connelly probably would be on the roster if not for being waiver-exempt. I think that's going to force them… https://t.co/B0Gb7dgPSE

Pierre Gasly
Alpine are a disaster so it's damn near impossible to actually root for him, but I've always enjoyed him on Drive To Survive. Just seems like a genuinely good dude. Hope one day the team figures it out or he goes elsewhere to show how good he actually is. https://t.co/u8K04J4z1h

The more contracts we see being handed out around the league, the better it looks. I still fully believe he has a lot higher ceiling than what we saw in his first half season and playoff run here. https://t.co/yO6bVal4me

False.
Lot of question marks at the moment. Coaching, scoring, defense, goaltending. There's absolutely a path for them to be Top 5 without adding anything, but as it stands today, I'm not there. Top 10, sure. https://t.co/wpxqqNkgXD

Emmanuel
Pretty much a bullseye on everything except 47 wins, that seems a stretch with a defense first team. I see a LOT of OT games next season.
Stone is probably the most underrated player in the league, playing in Ottawa & the west coast he’s “unseen”.
