Kings make about 21 million a year but that was coming off winning the Cup Ducks make 13 million a year (does that mean they’re losing 20 million + a year?) Curious what the Knights will net.

The Penquins made 18 million last year with their local deal which put them.
#10 on tv deals. Rest of top 10 was mostly New York and Canadian teams. So that’s 8 million more than the reported Knights deal yet we’re going to lose 30 million a year. What am I missing? Don’t we share equally in the national tv deal? Isn’t the arena going to sell out for the forseeable future? I would think merchandise sales well be healthy at least putting us somewhere in the middle of the pack if not top ten? So why will be losing so much and why can’t we pony up for a coach again?

The more I look into it even of the local tv deal ends up being only 10 million it’s not the and of the world. Foley should still be profitable and if there’s a coach that’s the perfect for but is 3 or 4 million nothing should prevent him from making the deal. If the perfect coach is a million or less great too I guess.
