How have you not seen Die Hard and how has one seen it and not love it? I’m this close to revoking your man card. Not only is it the greatest action movie ever made it is most definitely a Christmas movie, in fact it’s a top 5 Christmas movie of all time: 1)Christmas Vacation, 2) A Christmas Story 3) Miracle of 34th Street (OG Natalie Wood version, 4) Die Hard 5) Gremlins. Please stick to hockey you know nothing about film.
I don’t have a twitter account so here’s a question maybe you can address in future draft coverage: Does the NHL have a version of Jimmy Johnson’s Draft Value chart? How common are draft day trades? Compared to other leagues how much do NHL GMs value draft picks?
I agree Thorton would be good. I know his name and he has a really cool beard. We need one guy even it’s not Thorton with an awesome beard. I think you’re underrating Fleury though. He’s a champion and can you imagine the potential local McDonalds promotional opportunities. The McFleury Flurry. Which brings me to my second question: Based on the names being thrown around for the expansion draft and realistic free agents who do anticipate the Knights fan favorite will be?

Hasn’t been a great season for Fleury so far. Fleury’s .903 Save Percentage is below average. Fleury has the most global name recognition. I anticipate the Knights cult hero will be 224 lb fourth line Right Wing Ryan Reaves. Americans tend to be fascinated by fighting and bone-crunching hits. You wouldn’t want to mess with this guy.

I like the sound of this guy a lot. I’m an American that loves both fighting and bone crunching hits, so you’re spot on. Does he have a cool nick name like Ryan the Reaper Reaves?

The Golden Knights Analytics Department will probably have a version of Jimmy Johnson’s Draft Value chart. Draft day trades are quite common. According to Ray Ferraro this isn’t a deep draft. Players will be selected in the first round who don’t have a first round grade. I think NHL GMs value draft picks more than ever before due to the salary cap. Cheap labour during rookie contract. However it’s not unusual to find a Stanley Cup contender trade draft picks/prospects for a rental at the deadline.
The Blackhawks traded a highly-touted prospect (Teuvo Teravainen) in a salary dump. Some teams are right up against the cap. Vegas can take advantage.
