Great pod, funny as usual 🙂
On a side note, the loonie who sent you that message for gosilverknightsgo is well loonie, correct.
The MAN however is the dude who owns every single freakin Desert Knights domain that matters, how the heck did Foley not get these. And they were registered before any trademark filings so…. leak no leak, lucky guess or did Foley see that dudes ideas and steal the team name Desert Knights? I looked and no where is Desert Knights mentioned as a team name idea until after that dudes domain were found by detroithockey.net(?) any way, crazy if Desert Knights IS the name that dude is on a small gold mine.
Just sayin’
Ken Boehlke
You certainly have a point about the guy, but he’s clearly in it for the wrong reasons. In the end, Foley and the team will be just fine with whatever domain they end up with. No one in their right mind is going to go to any of that dude’s domains and mistake it for the actual team website.

They will not mistake it but control of your businesses/teams name domain is control of content. It is crucial not sure there is any NHL team that does not own their teams name or location and name.

Most of the way done with latest podcast. I just want to say as someone who has “lived” the Islanders “adventure”. They are not going back to Nassau. They might somehow move to Queens, but the value of the franchise almost doubled when they moved into the five boroughs. The only caveat to that would be if the new owners were given the building by the guy who built Barclays Center, but that’s not happening. Maybe they go into some deal with Mets owner (especially if they changed the name from Islanders to Dodgers…sorry, long story), but they are not going back to LI. They’d go to QC, KC, or Houston before they’d go back to LI.
