It sure seems like some news people love to talk about problems. They tell us what’s wrong, day in and day out. But what about when things go right? What about when smart people find simple ways to help others, even when big groups can’t?

Sometimes, good news gets buried. Maybe it’s because the story doesn’t fit what certain people want you to hear. But here at Patriot Journal, we think you deserve to know when common sense and strong action make a real difference, especially when it’s a story the mainstream crowd might just ignore.

There’s a group called the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, or GHF. Their job is simple: get food to hungry people in Gaza. They don’t play political games. They just want to help. But doing good can be dangerous.

The News They Don’t Report
Bad guys from Hamas recently attacked a bus carrying GHF workers. Sadly, eight brave people helping their own community lost their lives. Others might have been taken hostage. But did GHF give up? Not a chance. John Acree, who helps lead GHF, said the best way to answer these “cowardly murderers” was to keep feeding the people. So, they went right back to work and delivered a record number of meals – almost 2.6 million! That’s courage the media often overlooks.

But there’s an even bigger part of this story you probably haven’t heard. Rev. Johnnie Moore, who leads GHF, shared something amazing. He said the people in Gaza getting this food are not just thankful to America. They are thanking one person by name.

“They’re thanking President Trump specifically because a few weeks ago, in the Oval Office… he made a passing comment… And he made a promise that the United States would do something about it. And the people in Gaza are attributing our free distribution of food as a direct response to the promise of the president of the United States.”

Think about that. People in Gaza, helped by an American group, are thanking President Trump directly. Why isn’t that front-page news?

Roadblocks to Real Help
You might wonder why such a good story isn’t everywhere. Well, some big players don’t seem too happy about GHF’s success. The United Nations (U.N.) has even spoken out against GHF. But Rev. Moore says GHF is “trying to solve a problem that the U.N. hasn’t been able to solve,” like stopping Hamas from stealing aid meant for the people.

It gets worse. One Israeli official said the U.N. used “mafia-like” tactics against other groups that wanted to work with GHF. And some say the U.N. and Hamas don’t like GHF because it takes away their power and control over the people and the aid. It seems like President Trump’s plan to help directly is working so well, it’s making the old guard nervous.

So, while some news channels stay quiet, real people are getting real help. This is what happens when strong leadership decides to cut through the red tape and get things done. The people on the ground see it. They feel it. And they know who to thank, even if the mainstream media won’t tell you.
