Over the course of the last eight years, we’ve had a lot of strong opinions on this show. All of them have had an eye focused on winning the Stanley Cup. Well, the Golden Knights did it, and now we need to take a look back at what we were so confident in that turned out to be flat-out wrong. Hosted by Ken Boehlke and Jason Pothier.
- Mark Stone contract and playoff scoring
- Jack Eichel trade
- Bruce Cassidy the difference maker
- Health
- Cap mismanagement
- Advanced stats

Youre being too hard on yourself. At the begining of the playoffs there were teams with 40G scorers and franchise players. Stacked up against Vegas they looked like Juggernauts. Thats because defense isnt readily apparent. The Vegas D are as good as any since those Devils Cup teams and the F are (mostly) above average defensively.
Also the VGK cap managers are the best in League history. What was considered a weakness by many is in fact an alltime strength.
THE hockey GOD
when i get my strat cards in six months for NHL I will let you know how they rated all players offensively and defensively, and they normally provide two goalies. I doubt very much Adin Hill be carded. Most likely Logan and LB. Hill played 25 games, logan 37 , lb 11 games. So Hill is in !!

I remember the paper Baseball cards, I had the 85 and 90 sets but I preferred the Computer version for Hockey. good times!

Can you please try to avoid hitting the table or whatever with your hands while speaking, it creates a very annoying thunking sound every time you do it and it makes the podcast difficult to listen to.

We were set up in a different area than we typically are for this one. Definitely didn’t realize it was going on until post-production and from there there’s not a ton we can do. Sorry about that.
