SinBin.vegas Podcast #246: QBing The Golden Knights

First off I agree Vancouver is going to be a tough out. I see them second and if Edmonton’s goalies hold up I see them third. Some think LA will be in the mix I don’t. We have a nice team going in but need help will camp give us some surprises who knows. Don’t believe all that rating nonsense it’s there to appease teams who made high picks and they don’t want to let the air out of the tires for what ever team picked him. Good example is Quinton Byfield I think he’s a bust. Canada had him on the fourth line for a reason but them magically he ended up on the second line. This tells me being drafted second he can’t be on the fourth line how would it look to the LA fans if he wasn’t as good as advertised. Lucas Evelens being Swidish it’s interesting with Janmark, Karlsson, and Lehner as the Swede connection will he be in a comfort zone and surprise. I still think Jack Dugan leading the nation in scoring at Providence and being a big body I’m hoping he has a good camp. If any or all these guys work out Reilly Smith would be available and I understand Gallant wants him. The truth is they know what all these kids can do and unless someone really lights it up they’ve already set the roster.
