It’s all about winning the Cup to mortgage the teams future doesn’t mean anything to Ken and Jason. Back in the day the Rebel basketball team for about 15 years was sold-out rockin sound familiar and now you can shoot a cannon off in the arena and not hit anyone. When the Rebel basketball team was playing Tark the Shark keep a good competitive team year after year with one national championship. When he left it’s never been the same. Let me tell you don’t put a competitive hockey team on the ice and watch attendance go to shit. Believe me Vegas likes a winner so were not like all these other cities that will accept a rebuild as part of the game.

Enjoyed the podcast, as usual. Jason seems a little head shy from the beating he took on his GM for a day offering. Just wanted to say, even though I didn’t agree with it, I do appreciate the effort and time, and I respect your opinion and prospective. It still makes me have to think critical and decide if I agree or disagree, all good stuff. But trade Fleury and keep Reaves WTF, LOL!
I watched the career NHL highlight video on Patrick. Wow, just wow! Despite the risk, despite the horrible +/- he had last year it was exciting to watch and the kid has a lot of talent. He scored goals at big moments and several *in front* of the goalie on a PP’s. Several PP goals, OT game winners, and shoot out scores. Between the legs passes, between the leg back-hand while lifting the puck over the goalie. He lifts the puck well on several shots. Just talented stuff. Solid skater. I am going to ignore the chronic migraine issue and complete lack of defense last year. Perhaps those things can be resolved or fixed or worked on etc. I think the upside is good and hopefully the better end of the trade.
I look forward to the expansion draft and hopefully some movement by us afterwards. Lehner to any one for a bag of practice pucks and a taco bell coupon.
THE hockey GODv
rumor mill has that SEATTLE has picked
Jared McCann
from loser leafs
and are not picking Carey Price
they picked up two big D men, one from DALLAS and one from Oilers, according
to contracts that they are negotiating with these free agents.
THE hockey GOD
McCann selection likely means Kerfoot remains with leafs, and not likely coming to Vegas.
Unless there are some side deals in motion.
THE hockey GOD
Hearing the #SeaKraken preserved more valuable cap space by passing on Ryan Johansen and Matt Duchene in Nashville.
Belief is they will select Calle Järnkrok instead.
THE hockey GOD
they appear to be saving a lot in CAP SPACE, maybe they have a deal to sign Alex from CAPS ?? They also seem to appear to be selecting BIG experienced Defense. Going route of Montreal .

There are compiled lists out there of all the leaks. Are they true, who knows, maybe partially, but if true they are going so far away from picking high level trade bait guys like the pod cast talks about. At least from my weak prospective. Not sure what they’re trying to do. I fully expected to see a few guys that aren’t on the compiled list.
THE hockey GOD
there goalie picks may come back and haunt them, they got good but not great goalies.
they went the anti VGK route in goalies. I would have picked at least one more experienced goalie, from what I can see so far. Maybe they got a side deal going ?
