DOC (Go Knights Go)
We get to see our new guy Janmark (Jman) tonight!
We do have a history of new guys scoring in their first game with Knights. Could it be tonight?
Looking forward to Flurey having another good game.

no.7 still having a few issues fitting into the “system”, often takes early moves into a clogged lane and not setting up players correctly. Next to 81 and one other player, most often gives up the puck in OZONE to other team. 81 should just plain put puck on net every time.
Here are low end players on VGK ,worse player on top , for give aways / take aways OVERALL :
BRAYDEN MCNABB 0.40
ALEC MARTINEZ D 0.50
MATTIAS JANMARK-NYLEN 0.57
not good.
The top three in this category are 61, 71 and 27 (believe it or not).

Cap “management” is far beyond “finding loop holes ” in which the “loop holes”
don’t do anything for team overall Cup run and long term franchise health. The mismanagement includes:
1- too many short shift games due to cap over run (that is not finding a loop hole, that is bad management. Went over all the bad impact of this scenario in other post (now adding another one, putting a d man at forward which was obviously a short run “experiment”. Or in general, putting players at positions that they don’t fit well in )
2- too many over rated contracts.
3- future deals may get the team under the cap (wait for it).
Very poor cap roster management is in effect. There is no marginalization in this fact.
Vic
Shea is clearly different this year due to the addition of #7 changing the dynamics. Speaking of #7, you can do an entire podcast on what is going on with him as he looks like a shell of his prior self. He’s an average d-man right now. As for the cup….There are 4-5 teams that will be difficult to beat, and another 2-3 that the VGK are pretty even with. Focus s/b on round one which is going to be tough as the easier teams won’t be there this year. Hot goalie, injuries, and peaking properly will be the key.

I agree on Petro ….. So far not impressive.
My hope is he turns up his efforts when the playoffs get here.
Cereal Killer
By much more, did you mean all the cereal talk by Jason (who insists he’s not a breakfast guy) and his detailing about how he will eat several bowls of different brands in a row? Lol
Ken Boehlke
That was one of the “more”. Yeah
