“The Vegas Golden Knights could really use some offensive help at 5v5. Even-strength scoring is what this team needs to make some headway in the playoffs.

A deal here is complicated, but the Devils and Knights can make it work. The Devils will want one of the Knights top prospects. Jack Dugan, a former teammate of new Devil Tyce Thompson, would be the first ask, but the Knights would almost certainly say no. Brendan Brisson is a player they won’t want to lose, but the Devils can do some convincing here.

Brisson was the team’s 1st-round pick last season, and he’s currently playing at the University of Michigan. He could sign an ELC this offseason, ending his college career and starting to make moves towards the NHL. However, he’s not going to help the Knights in the playoffs. Vegas has been so close to lifting Lord Stanley’s Cup, and Palmieri helps them now a lot more than Brisson does.

The Devils would have to retain half of Palmieri’s salary and take Nick Holden’s contract to even get this close to working. Holden has another year left on his salary, which pays him $1.7 million per season. Helping them out with this deal might help push the Knights to give up on a former 1st-round pick.”

Devils don’t want no.9 and no. 28. Why would they. I don’t see it, they don’t it.

Everybody knows the rules, one bite.

    I score that a 6.8

…and you forgot to flip the other side of coin,, as usual.

What if they do make the deal ! And then they lose ?

Everybody knows the rules, you can’t have it both ways.

  3. DOC (Go Knights Go)

I think it will be a much tougher game tonight with the Blues.

They are still a dangerous team and will come all out I believe. (They are reaching desperation time to make POs)

We get #20 back which is very needed with Stoney and Patch.

We need another solid effort in goal from whomever starts. (I would assume Flurey).

  4. DOC (Go Knights Go)

I wanted to add: A lot of people are wanting a top line center to be acquired.

What more could you ask from anyone that #20 has not showed as our #1 line, center? He has played very well and has great chemistry with #61 & #67.

I feel just a solid NHL center could be added for 3rd line with Tuch. (then maybe also a solid NHL winger who can score).

My TD wish list, in order: Getzlaf, Haula, Bratt (NJD), Glendening. If Getzlaf plans on retiring after this year a big maybe, would have to be a 3-team deal like Lehner last year. Haula might not be an option the way Preds are playing. Love Bratt, but he may be part of NJD’s future.
