  1. Who else needs to go? Still way over the cap limit?

    • Only need to shed about another $3 to $4 million. I still think it’ll end up being Colin Miller when it’s all said and done. But it wouldn’t shock me if that doesn’t happen for a little while. Also wouldn’t shock me if it happens tomorrow.

It’s funny how we’ve heard so many names mentioned as trade possibilities but Haula was never really at the top of the list. Although I hate to see him go, this one makes a lot of sense. He was the one guy that didn’t really have a true fit in the lineup anymore. I hope he does great things in Carolina. He’s a class act

Good luck Haula. Your game winning goal in 2OT against the Kings was the stuff of legend. You won’t be forgotten.

  3. Sad to see him go. His spark coming off the bench is awesome. Perhaps Carolinas can really give him the ultimate spot to see that spark become a blaze. Best always!☘

and so it begins. Haula is still a question mark because of his serious knee injury. the knights only gain $1.94 million net cap space on this deal.

and according to Gary Lawless, Roy is slated to be the 4th line center, so I guess Bellemare is a goner.

they need to shed more than that, Ken. are you including the upcoming signings of Gusev, Nosek, Engelland, and Subban?

  6. vgk2019

plus, the replacement for Miller. and plus the 500k that McPhee retained to dump Tatar

you would think that the Blackhawks, Devils, and Ottawa are all trade partner possibilities for VGK now.
