Lehner says he thought the effort was much better from the team tonight but the number of breakaways and odd-man rushes against was out of character since he's been here.
I'm only doing one, should we do the Periscope after this one or hope things go better on Friday?
(Whichever wins is what I'm doing.)
In the end, VGK got what they deserved tonight.
At no point were they the better team.
Tonight's announced attendance is 17,690.
This is the lowest attended game (in which the stadium was operating at full capacity) since December 17th, 2017.
The fear of Pietrangelo and Theodore having to do too much has reared its ugly head in the first game without Pacioretty and Stone.
He tried to lead the rush and an errant pass in the NZ led to a 3-on-0 break. Lehner had no chance to keep that one out. 2-1 STL.
