In the final media availability of the season nearly every Golden Knights player spoke to the media. We also had extended press conferences with The Creator, George McPhee, and Gerard Gallant.
Of course, there will probably be 50 stories on this site based off many of the comments on this day, but we wanted to share some of the highlights from the day.
(If you would like to listen to every second of the nearly 2 hours and 15 minutes of locker room interviews that we participated in, go here or to our podcast feed.)
Gallant says he left Cody Eakin alone after the ejection and says the first he spoke to him was "five minutes ago in the lunch room."
Eakin said "Turk, I'm fine, I know I don't do anything wrong."
Gallant: "Obviously no one is blaming Cody Eakin."

Gallant says he absolutely considered using Gusev in the series but basically said in the end it came down to the fact that he didn't fully know the systems and it wasn't worth the risk. Opted for Pirri and he thought he played great in Game 7.

Gallant believes the extended offseason is going to benefit his team for next year. He said obviously you don't want it to end that soon but that it's a grind when you go that deep into the playoffs.

Ryan Carpenter says he hasn't really thought about being a free agent much at all. I asked what he values most in a contract and the number one thing that kept coming up was simply being in the NHL.

"It sucks. It's sucks that the season is over. It sucks for us, it sucks for Pav(elski), it sucks for the league, it sucks your the city. But, we'll be back." -Cody Eakin

— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) April 25, 2019
Marchessault says he got a bunch of nasty messages and comments that involved his family and his kids. For those people he has a short and simple message, "Just shut up."

William Karlsson says he would love to get a long term contract done, if for no other reason than, "So I can stop answering questions like this at the end of every year."
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) April 25, 2019
Brandon Pirri says the number 1 thing he's looking for is a chance to play in the NHL. He likes the Vegas organization, likes the connection to Chicago (his family lives there), but the focus is clear, go where he will be on an NHL roster.

Reading between the lines I think he wants to play.
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) April 25, 2019
So I finally asked the question to Mark Stone.
Why do you hold your stick line that (straight up like a flag)?
He literally wasn't sure what I was talking about. Says it's just what's comfortable and didn't realize he holds it differently than others when not playing. pic.twitter.com/XtYJvcSGQh

Foley says it's "extremely likely" that they will have a 3rd jersey next year.
He came within a word of accidentally unveiling the color but then caught himself.
(It'll be gold.)
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) April 25, 2019
Foley (who made it clear that this is only his opinion) said he does not want to see his team play overseas. Says he would prefer his team plays all of their games at T-Mobile Arena.
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) April 25, 2019
"The only good thing that came out of this mess is that we're going to pick 16th or 17th in the Draft" -Foley
— SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) April 25, 2019
Foley wants the Draft in Vegas. He would love for VGK to play an outdoor game at Raider Stadium, but he seemingly has no interest in hosting an All Star Game for a variety of reasons.
