Las Vegas Starting To Dress Up For The Playoffs

It’s the best time of year, playoff time. One of my favorite things about the playoffs is how the city responds to the excitement of a potential Stanley Cup run.

Of course, we kicked things off with the launch of our playoff hashtag, #FourTheCup and are starting to ship out shirts, tanks, hoodies, and stickers tonight.

The city is also starting to come alive with VGK pride too. First, the Credit One building right off the 215 has been wrapped with the words “Knight Up” and a gigantic logo.

Next, the nightclub at Red Rock has been transformed into Crimson at Knight.

You can see more pictures of Crimson on Fox 5’s website.

My favorite is the VGK themed food starting to pop up around town. First, at one of the best restaurants in the entire city, Zuma, is the Golden Maki Roll. An eight-piece sushi roll of bluefin tuna, tempura flakes, and pickled daikon topped with toro, fried ginger, Ossetra caviar, and 24-karat gold leaf.

Staying with the sushi theme, Sushi Ichiban has the Golden Knight roll made with soft shell crab and onion crunch and topped with peanut butter, spicy crab meat, spicy garlic ponzu, and spicy yum sauce.

And lastly, this post would not be complete without a doughnut. Pinkbox Doughnuts offers the Golden Knight.

And this is just the start. It’s go time and Vegas is ready.

Doc prefers the pool at Sapphire Club from what I hear on the street.

    Don’t ask what street.

    • DOC (Go Knights Go)

Now how did you find that “secret” out?

And oh, Where is this Sapphire club at?

And what do you prefer hg, the roman baths at the “men’s only” club?

      • THE hockey GOD

@Doc it’s known on the street ! You are Charlie Scheen are well known celebrities there.

It’s right next to the best MEXICAN RESTAURANT in VEGAS – El Dorado Cantina , 4.5 out of 5 stars. Google it.

Speaking of Roman Spa’s , my GF used to like to go to Caesar’s QUA SPA. If you have chance treat your wife there after the VID (covid) is done.

        Veritable fountain of information today.

One bite, everybody knows the rules

But now, he’s just to crazy for me.

Not sure how famous I am on the “streets”, but my fame is all over the net. All ya got to do is dig around a little!

Foley says he’s very concerned about health heading into the playoffs.

Mentioned Martinez has been dealing with a lower-body injury for a while and it finally got to a point where he couldn’t play. Pacioretty is an upper body injury that is worse than they initially expected.

I was afraid the max pax news would get out , and their depth is hurting right now. Now we know why the rushed KREBS foolishly into the line up. With lack of AHL depth they will be lucky to get through the first round. Goalie will need to stand on head.

The injuries just pile up. Was it due to playing players with squad short due to SAL CAP regs? I think so. Certainly has a significant role in whole scheme of things. Patrick Brown being hurt doesn’t help either. Not much in AHL to help at this stage. I hope they don’t do something foolish and bring up more prospects.

    Need to win tonight.

Can’t worry about what Colorado does, until WE win.

Getting help from LA, not very likely, but never know!

So how many skaters do we get tonight?

    17?

    14?
