We shouldn’t have to wait much longer to get official word on the new name of Las Vegas Arena.
At the moment, it appears T-Mobile has clinched the naming rights, so the new arena could very well end up with the name T-Mobile Arena. –VitalVegas.com
This should come with a major sigh of relief for anyone who feared the name “UFC Center” was actually a possibility.
We did some digging of our own to try and confirm this rumor, and this is what we came up with…
@VitalVegas@SinBinVegas i know somebody works for t mobile and he said its a done deal.

Good enough for us.
In our tour of the Marketing Center we are told there are expected to be a total of eight “major” sponsors. We know of Coca Cola, Toshiba, and now T-Mobile. Other fields that were mentioned were a financial institute, alcoholic beverage company, transportation, and a tech company (does T-Mobile qualify for that?).
Schneider Electric was also announced back in February to become the “First Founding Partner.” So that takes care of the energy field.
Hopefully, T-Mobile has some big plans for the roof because the more I look at the stadium the more the blank white roof cries out for help.
I have to say, I’m good with the name T-Mobile Arena. I like the nickname “The T.”
Now it’s time for Gary Bettman to get his act together give “The T” a permanent resident.
