To answer your first question, I believe VGK will use some, if not all, of the available LTIR money to try and help the team make the playoffs. Personally, I disagree with this strategy. I'd hold or even sell.

The Golden Knights have the toughest schedule of the 10 teams vying for Western Conference playoff spots.
However, when you break it down, VGK's path to a postseason berth is really not that treacherous if they handle the poor opponents.

Cassidy said there is an "opportunity" for Mark Stone to return this year. Added that the further they extend their season the more likely it is.
Cassidy says Whitecloud is a gametime decision and he'll make the call tomorrow if he can play.
Certainly appears he'll be in the lineup.
