The Golden Knights have assigned Patrick Brown and Logan Thompson to the AHL. Both are available for tonight's game.
The league's 1st priority to ensure games can be played safely. When a positive comes in, they want to be certain they have it contained before they play a game.
If they get all negative tests the next few days, the taxi squad is used to step in for the guy who tested positive.
@SinBinVegas ken, i know u read the entire nhl Covid policy several times.can you explain for idiots like me what the taxi squad is about? If one guy on San Jose, or any team, tests positive, why is everything get shut down and games postponed? Isn’t taxi squad for replacements?
Tomorrow night's game against the San Jose Sharks has been postponed as a result of a Sharks player entering COVID Protocols.
Tomas Nosek did skate with the Golden Knights today. He is considered an option for tomorrow but DeBoer would not commit to whether or not he'll be in the lineup.
