As discussed before, O’Reilly is a center, which is the last thing this team needs. It needs 1 or 2 specific role playing wings. There is also an alleged major static between Eichel and O’Reilly from their days in Buffalo. As a player in general, I really like O’Reilly, but it is a poor fit for the current needs of this team.
Now if we could trade Eichel, build up our wings, depth, and then pick up O’Reilly. Now you are cooking with fire. 🙂
