    Jack Eichel Resumes Skating————-

The Vegas Golden Knights center was seen back on the ice today in North Carolina (at what appears to be the Extreme Ice Center just outside of Charlotte) by one of the scouts for Brandon Wong Hockey, just three weeks after going under the knife.

also, the VGK have signed first round draft pick Zach Dean to his entry level contract. He will remain in Jr Hockey with the Gatineau club in the Quebec league.

Kale Clague D, Los Angeles Kings
Kale Clague has been chosen by Los Angeles with the 51st overall pick in the 2016 draft.

Kale Clague comes into the NHL draft with far less fanfare than he entered the WHL draft, in which he was taken sixth overall. The wiry 18-year-old, 6’0″ and 180 lbs has some tantalizing skills. His raw offensive skills rate nearly at elite levels, which are coupled well with his superior skating ability. Clague posted six goals and 43 points in 73 games for Brandon, with 27 points in his last 26 games. He then scored six goals and 15 points in 18 games during the playoffs as Brandon took home the WHL Cup. With an Ivan Hlinka gold to his name as well, one realizes that if his defensive game comes around and his frame fills out, Clague may end up as one of the steals of the draft as the Kings may have gotten a good one.
