Jason – regarding your concern about Tucks answer – do whatever it takes – maybe the knights would be a better team if the players they have felt the same way. They shot themselves in the foot letting Tuck go and your right they never capitalized or gave him a chance to demonstrate what they had. I believe he could and will become a super star in Buffslo as they recognized his potential. There is something to be said for humility. Check out what the Bible has to say about that. I hope you respond to this post l would love to hear what you think.

It made sense, at the time, to have Tuch on line 3 when things were healthy. Stone and Patches were the L1 wings and the misfit line was cemented as well. I do think he deserved an elevated role, but just wasn’t one there to have. However, this year, man we could use Tuch. The fact that we are using a L2/L3 center as a winger on L1 cause there isn’t another person on the entire roster good enough to take that spot says a ton.
Tuch deserves alot of credit. He always made the 3rd line relevant and usually did it without consistent line mates. He deserves L1/L2 minutes and is thriving. Plus a low 4.7 million cap hit for 4 more seasons after this one. Good for buffalo, ugh.

Tuch moves to Buffalo and gets moved up on the line and is capitilizing. He was never really given a fair chance here. I think in 2-3 years Buffalo is going to be very good and Tuch will be an all-star

Mike mentioned the spark that is missing from the VGK. Check the replay of the Rangers/Caps game tonight (2/24). Reaves had 13 minutes of ice time, 5 hits, an assist, and endless praise from the announcers regarding intensity. There was nothing dirty from the Caps, they were asleep most of the game, Wilson didn’t try anything, and Reaves had the fans screaming. Gallant always has intensity, especially when yelling at the refs. There are other reasons for the missing intensity by the VGK, but now the Rangers have gained some.
