Even though Las Vegas doesn’t have a team yet, it’s not stopping the organization in charge from taking care of the community.
It’s not just the awesome tidbit about donating a dollar per ticket to Opportunity Village, VegasWantsHockey has also been putting on charity events.
The latest event was to benefit local charity Three Square. Hockey fans in the valley helped to make more than 22,000 meals for those in need.
It’s really cool to see a community already rallying together to help out others, and it’s only going to get better when we actually get the team so players, coaches, front office execs and everyone else can chip in.
