The newest Golden Knight has made an immediate impact in Vegas seeing time on both the 2nd and 3rd lines and contributing a goal and two assists in six games.
It’s the style of play that has impressed me the most though, and that’s exactly what I highlight in today’s film breakdown.
Time for another Film Breakdown!
Today the focus is on Mattias Janmark's offense-driving ability and why he'll fit in on any line he's on because of his style of play. pic.twitter.com/qoR5F1jH7w

Janmark is a solid two-way player who will contribute at least 1/2 point per game over the course of a season. Maybe more if he plays with Tuch and has a solid NHL Rt. winger. Here’s the catch: coming up with the money to pay him next season (Reaves $1.7mil and Holden’s $1.7 mil ?)
sb, believe me they gave three draft picks to get this kid there’s no way he’s leaving Vegas.
Actually. Throughout his career so far before VGK, Jan has not been a solid 2-way player and that’s been quite evident. However, since he’s come here he has drastically improved his 2-way play and that’s a really good sign because it shows he’s capable of doing it. It’s amazing what being traded to a contender can do for an NHL hockey player.
Howard I don’t know whats in the water but we steal Stephenson now Janmark and they become intricate parts of the Golden Knights. It’s kind of like our first year with the Misfits they just seem to find there game in Vegas.
I hope you are correct but I don’t see it. He’s done pretty good but I don’t think he is worth what we gave up for him, at least from his previous experience. Maybe a change of scenery is what he needed
DOC (Go Knights Go)
I expect a “playoff like” intensity in tonight’s game.
IF one team or another doesn’t play with intensity, they will most likely lose this game.
Could be a 4 point game, if won in regulation. We need this!
PS – I believe PDB & his system, allows players to come here, like #20 & #26, and play with some “freedom” to show what they can do.
DOC (10 IN A ROW)!
