Sometimes, the smallest and seemingly most insignificant moments in a game can change the outcome.
In this film breakdown, we illustrate how a heads-up play by Mark Stone gave the Golden Knights a much better chance to come back against Toronto.

coghlan Called up is something brewing if Vegas gets Anderson I I could see cloudy or korzack Going to Calgary What is your take Emanuel you’re in the know
Emmanuel
Your wish is my command, scuttlebutt on trade websites (edited)
Vegas and Detroit are the top two suitors……….with Vegas currently the favorite. Dallas and Los Angeles are also lingering……..Andersson……….has made it clear he intends to test free agency no matter where he is trade………meaning no extension and a pure rental………how much are teams willing to give up for that?
Emmanuel
I wouldnt mind losing Whitecloud for a rental ( and ill throw in Howden)!
Id rather pick up a Goal scoring (not another assist/passing F) LW, that would be the biggest impact.
JB
I d t know what you have against Howden, em? Plays hard always and makes big plays as well!
Emmanuel
Look at his career stats/analytics.
The “works hard/is positionally flexible/good locker room presence” argument is telling. Hes a very poor scorer & passer. i would have no issue with him being a 4th liner/AHL’er vut VGK has WAY overused him in the top 9. If he went to another team he would be waived after 1 1/2 seasons.
Bless him, hes gonna get an NHL pension & seems like a decent guy, but hes a terrible player.

Hockey News Reporting Detroit is out but who knows

85% fall thru in talks……it happens

Emmanuel, that might have been the most ludicrous post I have ever seen here as per your thoughts/feelings on Howden.
How you could possibly label him a terrible player, when he is a good skater, plays up and down the lineup, stands up for his teammates and is on a very team friendly contract, rather mind boggling.

Elliott Friedman reports Boston is in first position, VGK in second spot, two other teams in the mix. He said that only Boston has been given the permission to speak with Andersson, presumably to see if they can get an extension agreed upon. He said Boston offered a better trade package to Calgary, but perhaps it will be VGK who can sign Andersson to a better extension. We will soon find out…

Great breakdown Ken. One of the many reasons why Stone is our Captain. Lets hope he stays healthy for another 10yrs !!
Larry
One thing I noticed in the last 2 games is Stone has a wicked slap shot, something that is rarely utilized these days, but I wish he can find the room to use it.
Klay
Lol. I love Stoney…easily my favorite player with his frequent high iq plays but his slap shot is not elite man. His defense is where he makes an impression in my mind. His stick lifts and constant breakups because of his knowing what’s coming while on the PK and defense are what make him so special in my mind
Emmanuel
You can make a good argument Stone is VGKs best player (and I would agree).
Only weaknesses, ‘slowish’ & constant down time for ouchies…….
JB
Need to handle these Preds tonight! Come on boys!
DONAL MOORE
And it was his first game back and the protection usually not the goalie and a lot was not his fault but there are some that you could say was on him he did Shine I think when it’s up close he’s really great and the weird deflection not his fault and some of those outside slap or a shots and when they move across the net on him he can find he can pull himself out of position in many cases just your thoughts there’s only one game I understand that it’s not a cobwebs I get that some of it isn’t kind words I understand that too
