Cassidy didn't even know he signed up for the shootout that ended up lasting 14 rounds.

The refs asked him if he wanted to do the optional shootout and he thought they meant if the game was tied at the end. So he was as surprised as anyone when they started it up after the OT.

VGK win the fake shootout 6-5 in 14 rounds with the game-winning save a diving poke check from Adin Hill.
