The Henderson Silver Knights’ new $84 million home on Green Valley Parkway is 85% complete.
The team invited members of the media on a tour of the facility today and it looks like it’s going to be a tremendous place to watch hockey, football, basketball, concerts and so much more.
The ice rink had been laid and each of the 6,000 seats have been placed with the building set to be ready for the Big West Basketball Tournament in March and then the Silver Knights’ first home game on April 2nd.
Here are a collection of pictures and videos from today’s tour.

I wonder what the parking situation is like.

They’re counting on using the District, Whole Foods and Cheesecake Factory parking. They refused to increase available parking onsite…this will seriously hamper anyone’s parking options at the District all week long as they plan to overload this place with events.

THG, You know my friend you can’t stop progress when I moved to Henderson the population was a little over 16,000 there was a sign on Boulder Highway stating that. Here we are 56 years later and were the second biggest city in Nevada. With a beautiful state of the art arena they’ll figure out the parking believe me. There already working on widening the streets around the arena and it’s right off the freeway with the district across the street what’s not to like.
