Recap: Shea Theodore scored four minutes into the game to give Vegas an early 1-0 lead in St. Louis. Marc-Andre Fleury looked sharp in net playing back-to-back games.
Neither team scored in the middle frame as both teams fought off several penalties. Fleury was flawless again and held the 1-0 Golden Knights after 40 minutes played.
Vegas’ offense for going in the 3rd period, getting two goals from Mark Stone and one from Max Pacioretty. Alex Tuch scored a late empty netter to put the game away. St. Louis broke Fleury’s shutout in the 3rd period but the goaltender would lock down and secure the 5-1 victory.
The Golden Knights improve their record to 18-6-1 winning back-to-back games against the Blues. Vegas returns home to play San Jose on Monday night. The game is scheduled for 7 PM PT. (Recap by Jason)
Analysis: For the second night in a row the Golden Knights controlled the majority of play at 5-on-5 against a decent Blues team. The penalty killing stepped up in this one to ensure there was no late comeback as well. Vegas ends the road trip with four wins out of six, but the two losses still sting. (Analysis by Ken)

Mark Stone doesn't care where your net is. He'll still score on it.

One thing you never have to worry about with this Golden Knights team is the PK. It's spectacular.

Cody Glass was just referenced as a healthy scratch on the ATTSN broadcast.
He is currently on VGK's taxi squad.

Big weekend. 2 huge wins over the Blues. 1st place by 4 pts now.
Stone and Fleury led the way, but the checking was very good tonight by everyone, with Brown adding some forechecking hustle to that 4th line. and Roy is adding some puckhandling to the 3rd line.
hopefully Theodore is regaining his offensive confidence a little bit.

Boys sweep the mighty blues.
Flurey big in 3rd.
Two more against the Sharks coming. Should give flurey rest in both games. The other guys can handle the sharks.

STONE is a COLD KILLER!!!
THE hockey GOD
i would right this one off and expect a better blues team in playoffs due to:
back up goalie, team missing many players, their russian player needs a few more games to get back timing (just missed a few good chances), team came in at 4 am from road trip.
dead cat bounce.
Expect better results next time around.
Wild still playing best hockey in this division.

*typo “write it off” not right if off. St, Louis newspaper headliner had something to effect “holey goalie” in nets for the Blues (giving little credit to VGK) implying holes in goalie play, not a petition for sainthood in the holy roman catholic church, btw.

Definitely gaining momentum. Tremendous skater, good stick handler, defense improving.

At some point ya gotta stop writing the games off … don’t you?
