Recap: The Golden Knights had no trouble scoring in Arizona. Jonathan Marchessault began the parade with his 10th and Max Pacioretty wristed in his 5th of the season. Pacioretty’s scored Vegas’ third power play goal in two games. After the opening 20 minutes the Golden Knights held a 2-1 lead.
The offense blew up for Vegas in the 2nd period. Chandler Stephenson, Michael Amadio and Pacioretty all registered goals to stretch Vegas’ lead to 6-1.
The 3rd period was useless and didn’t matter. Everyone skated around trying to not get hurt.
The Golden Knights record improves to 13-10-0 after dominating the Coyotes 7-1 Arizona. Vegas heads home for their next four games beginning with Calgary on Sunday night. Puck drop against the Flames is scheduled for 7 PM. (Recap by Jason)

I thought it was great how he not only got the Knights to the cup the first year, when the mgmt unceremoniously fired him, he took that Canadian team to the gold. We just dominated in every aspect of the game. Patches has a wicked “Slap Shot”. Reggie Dunlop would of loved it. Kolesar got a couple of good shots in his scrap tonight, bring on Ogie. Tonight we got our fans, it seems as though more Knights fans in the stands than Coyote fans. All we need is someone to put a bounty on someone to make the next game interesting. This game was over when the puck was dropped. Be thankful that even with many guys out we buried them. This Coyote team couldn’t beat the Silver Knights. I am thankful that we rarely get embarrassed like this. Coyote fans have to be depressed after this whitewash.

Fun game last night. Nice to get all pumped up. Like playing NHL on xbox on beginner mode. Feel all pumped up about crushing teams in all aspects of the game. Sunday will be like turning it up to intermediate mode and realizing you are not as good as you thought.
Its a good 2 points and entertaining. I do feel bad for AZ. The worse they do the closer they get to becoming another Canadian team and gone from AZ. Which would be a shame.

I have been VERY impressed by Brossoit, almost to the point that I was thinking ahead and knowing that we have a potential career G in Thompson ready to be brought up as a back up and given some NHL experience, why not dish Panda to make room for Eichel? Someone or more likely someones are gonna have to go and to cover his AAV its gonna be a someone who actually is a decent player/contributor. I think its amazing that VGK is doing as well as they are considering the fact that the injured stars are just now getting back into game shape, Marti (who I think is absolutely the backbone of our shot blocking heavy D) has been out for almost double digit games now with the face lac and concussion symptoms, the roster has been so up down and sideways that any concept of confortability went out the window long ago, AND we are still without Karlson, Tuch, and Marti as I stated above…those three players were MAJOR contributors in one way or another and I especuially miss Marty. His exp would be so beneficial with these younguns and these odd man rushes. Panda has looked solid at times, and holey at others but you cantg really expect much different when someone is facing OMR after OMR…The fact that we lead the league in shorties by two, have most comeback wins, and the PP and Patches and Stone are all slowly coming back are definite positive signs for me. We should get Marti and Wild Bill back within the week. Im very excited for tomorrow’s game after seeing the Flames needed OT to win against the Ducks who VGK fought tooth and nail and without the EN we woulda been in the same position. Obviously its not apples to apples but just seeing them struggle against a team that we struggled against game after we did should inject some confidence into the boys. Need to get some optimism somehow cause looking at their standings/last ten record alone could very well cause some immediate loss of confidence that VGK has a shot. Seeing the domination last night, the special teams as of late, the amazing tenacity they have shown, and the emrgence of Stone and Patches make me think this game is gonna surprise everyone.. 4-2 VGK. thats my bet. Last but certainly not least….
Most surprising (postively)player to me so far this season:
Dado…man for his size the dood is everywhere!! He always crashes the net, hes on continuous rebound patrol when someone shoots, hes generous with the passing at most the right times and can be selfish as well.. plus hes a bulldog who doesn’t complain or have anything extracurricular just boom boom off the ice. He’s been a welcome surprise to me…
Biggest disappointment/letdown this season SO FAR: Howden was someone who I was definitely wanting to jump on the hype train for. His number 2 pick is meaningless to me, but the fact that he has experience at the highest level, PDB has thrown him around in multiple different spots to try to get something going, and he has shown flashes of what could be just make me MORE and more let down because I just keep waiting for a little 3/4 game point streak or just SOMETHING to get him going. I really think he can be a great player and Im wondering if maybe the Wild Bill line might be the place for him once we have dealt one of thse three away to make room for Eichels AAV.

Knuck if you Knight, with all of these unfortunate injuries it was a great opportunity to see some of our depth guys from the Henderson Silver Knights. Howden has been brutal and did not take advantage of a great opportunity with the regulars out. I’m one of the rare Kolesar fans. I’m completely aware of his stone hands but I like the element he has brought to the fourth line tonight. And that’s exactly where he belongs. It’s not his fault that he has had to play up the lineup. Dylan Coughlan is a bit tough to watch at times with his giveaways but he is still a work in progress. I think if tonight was a must win playoff game Ben Hutton would be in the lineup instead of him.
