Nashville got off to a quick start scoring 2:14 into the game. Down one early the Golden Knights gathered themselves and score two unanswered goals. Team leaders Mark Stone and Reilly Smith each registered their fifth goals of the season in the 1st period. After 20 minutes Vegas took the 2-1 lead into the intermission.
The 2nd period was all Nashville. The visiting team was able to take advantage of a few of Vegas’ miscues. The Predators scored three straight goals to take a 4-2 lead into the second break.
Nashville had two early power plays to start the 3rd period. The Predators were able to convert on one of them to take a 5-2 lead.
Vegas’ record drops to 4-3-0 but they’ll have a chance to better it on Thursday night. The Ottawa Senators come to town to take on the Golden Knights for a 7 PM puck drop. (Recap by Jason)

The Golden Knights lost that period 3-0 yet I didn't think it was a bad period at all for Vegas. Hockey is weird sometimes… especially when your goalie hands the other team a gift goal.
