There were a few things that came out of this interview that I found quite interesting. First of all was his response to the question of, “Is the NHL telling you there is not a timeframe?”
I haven’t asked the question, I’m trying to be a very good reserve player right now. ‘Commissioner, I’m ready to come off the bench.’ We are just trying to do a good job to show we are hockey ready here. – The Creator
But that doesn’t mean he’s not confident, and that doesn’t mean he’s not busting his read end to make sure that the city is truly “hockey ready.”
We can start working on the practice facility. It’s a 18 month 2-year project. We really need to get our facility underway. The county is going to help us, which is terrific. We can start having informal discussions with various people for various positions. But I don’t want to get the cart before the horse.
Interesting. It seems like he’s got the go-ahead to do just about anything he needs to do in order to really get prepared to start soon. The part about the practice facility is particularly intriquing. The county is going to help build a massive facility and undertake a two year project. Thus, Clark County is pretty darn sure a team is coming, which is a massive vote of confidence.
I know it’s gonna happen, it’s just a matter of when.
I love you.
I’m the most impatient person in the world, and if I can deal with it, hang in there.
We are trying!
Here’s the entire video. Huge props to Rebel Report for putting this out there. Great work guys.
