Golden Knights EA NHL 21 Rankings Released

Every year the release of the popular video game by EA gives us a peek into how the rest of the hockey world views the Golden Knights roster. Like sportsbook odds, they aren’t always the perfect way to show where the Golden Knights stand, but that doesn’t make either any less interesting.

The Golden Knights overall rankings are 88 on offense, 88 on defense, and 90 in goal.

Here are all the full player rankings.

Mark Stone – 88
Marc-Andre Fleury – 87
Robin Lehner – 87
Max Pacioretty – 86
Jonathan Marchessault – 86
William Karlsson – 85
Reilly Smith – 84
Shea Theodore – 84
Alec Martinez – 83
Alex Tuch – 83
Nate Schmidt – 83
Brayden McNabb – 82
Deryk Engelland – 79
Chandler Stephenson – 79
William Carrier – 79
Nick Holden – 79
Cody Glass – 79
Ryan Reaves – 79
Tomas Nosek – 78
Nic Hague – 78
Oscar Dansk – 78
Nic Roy – 77
Jimmy Schuldt – 76
Lucas Elvenes – 74
Dylan Coghlan – 74
Dylan Sikura – 74
Jake Bischoff – 74
Zach Whitecloud – 72
Gage Quinney – 72
Keegan Kolesar – 70
Jake Leschyshyn – 69
Reid Duke – 69

The game does not yet include the Golden Knights gold jersey but it does show a new center design that is well… interesting.

Also, NHL 21 includes the Henderson Silver Knights. Their jerseys are exactly the same as the Golden Knights but look pretty cool nonetheless.

The game is set for full release on October 16th.

  1. You are desperate for something to write about.

  2. It looks like in the second picture posted they cut out the bar behind section 205. This is a disaster.

Shea Theodore is an 84 overall? You’d think a top 10 Norris candidate would be given a better than top 30 ranking

Well Pietrangelo is on his way to Pow Wow with the Splash Brothers. I’m sure they’ll wine and dine him. I guess they must be close and maybe this is already done and they want him here for a photo shoot. If your going all in why not dump some dead weight and go after Taylor Hall too. Now that would drive the hockey world crazy seeing they hate us already for being to good to fast. For some reason the league thinks we should suffer like Buffalo for 50 years. I’m for sticking it to them big time.

    • Tim – where do you get this fake news??? Maybe your just out there trolling at 75 with nothing better to do – take up golf or something and play with the boys – most hockey players are golfers.

hdbiker What fake news I hate golf caddied as a kid that was enough golf for me. Taylor Hall just signed with Buffalo why would anyone want to sign with Buffalo there would be so many nicer places to hang your hat.

Ken for months we’ve gone back and forth on the goalie situation. I was always for keeping both and you have said no can’t put 12 million into goalies. Well with Bill Foley on my side I think my odds are getting better. Maybe we both think alike because were both 75 or maybe goalie is the most important position and why not double down. Schmidt would be expendable if we sign Pietrangelo and that saves 5.9 million. I don’t no about you but two quality goalies is more important then Schmidt the way he played in the playoffs. Dump Patch or Marchie and go after Taylor Hall. Why go half way as you always say our window to win is now.
